The distinction between weight and volume is very useful information. I think I can balance things more intuitively now. However, my understanding of RimWorld's code is quite limited, and I usually rely on copying other modders' code. So, I’ll look for some mods to use as references! Thanks!

Alternatively, the highes weight a creature can carry in the game vanilla is the elephant at 140kg, so making a backpacks weight capacity any more than 105 would make the human pawn better than the best pack animal, and all the mechanoids including the war queen... Muffalo are at 84kg, so a weight capacity of 49kg would make the pawn equal to muffalos and Horses and better than yaks... so in my opinion, seems pretty decently balanced already, just that the pouch just doesn't seem worth the effort of making it.

Apparently there are 2 different kinds of "carry capacity", one defines how many items one can carry(default 75 for humans) i.e. Human Pawn can only carry 75 rice, even if he could carry more weight. And the other one is the max weight he can carry(default 35kg for humans). so you could have a cheaper set of 3 increasing the amount of items carried by 25 each maxing out at 150, and a more expensive one that increases both carry amount and weight increasing by 25 items and 10 weight each. so if you have the most expensive backpack you should be able to carry twice as many items and near double the weight... But I only read the wiki entries for carry capacity for like 10 minutes so I don't know if I got everything right about that...

That's a good point. Could you possibly make some suggestions? I haven’t played RimWorld lately, so I’ve lost my sense for balancing.

Well, I did find the original mod's values a bit too much. Since when one backpack could give you the carry ability of a muffalo? But maybe tune them slightly up? I mean, some are so low that it's not really worth to have them at all.

I'm open to creating a Greek and Carthaginian equipment mod. (and medieval types)
However, as I'm close to graduation, I can't guarantee a timeline.

Since the only difference from the original mod is the weight values, I expect it can be replaced mid-game, but I can't say for certain.

I may have asked this before, but not sure. If you do requests, I would love to see some Greek or more medieval types of armor/equipment from you. You are very talented and love this mod!
