sorry to hear you ran into so many issues.
If you tried playing the mission in singleplayer, try launching it in local multiplayer instead: Multiplayer → Server Browser → Host Server.
If you had any mods enabled, try running the mission without them to see if that helps.
I want to make sure everyone has a smooth experience, so let me know if you're still running into problems after that.
The issue with the AI teammates is known — check out the “Issue Reports” discussion thread for more info.
thanks for the kind words. I'm glad you enjoyed the mission.
I'm excited to see your video and get a look at how your take on the mission went.
When I have the edited video, I'll send you the link, although it's in Spanish. Cheers, and thanks for the mission.
Truely one of the best and seems to work flawlessly in Coop.
Quick question: have you installed the CDLC on the server and can at least see the map listed in the selection using #missions?
If not, you still need to upload the CDLC to the server. Some server hosting sites have a setting or guide for that.
Otherwise, do the following:
Upload the WS folder from your PC (Steam\steamapps\common\Arma 3\WS) into the arma3 folder on the server.
Copy the key file from Steam\steamapps\common\Arma 3\WS\Keys\ws.bikey into the Keys folder on the server.
After restarting the server, the map should show up.
it should actually be enough to host the scenario locally once
(Multiplayer → Server Browser → Host Server).
Then it should download the .pbo file, which you can then copy to the dedicated server.
The location where it downloads the file seems to vary a bit. Here's a Reddit post:
https://www.reddit.com/r/arma/comments/3dvr1h/where_do_i_find_the_pbo_files_from_the_workshops/
For me, it downloads the pbo to:
C:\programs\Steam\userdata\<userid>\ugc\referenced\<id>\Desert%20Ocean%20[SP%2fCOOP%201-8].SefrouRamal.pbo
I can't remember right now if, as you said, you need to replace all % and other special characters.
I wrote a mini version of the cutscene script in a Reddit post.
You should be able to just copy it or download it via the link there.
If that doesn't work or if you have any questions, feel free to reach out again.

Western Sahara DLC for this mission, as it
takes place on the Sefrou-Ramal map
icluded in that DLC.

the following steps should normally work:
Singleplayer → Scenarios → Under "Subscribed Content on Steam" → Desert Ocean [SP/COOP 1-8] → (Bottom right) "Play"
This should trigger the mission download.
If you receive an error message, feel free to post it here.
Alternatively, please try launching the mission in multiplayer:
Multiplayer → Server Browser → Host Server → Host Server → Map: Sefrou-Ramal → Mission: Desert Ocean [SP/COOP 1-8]
If you have mods enabled, please try launching the mission without them.
Otherwise, I recommend unsubscribing from the mission and subscribing again.
Everything from start to end was done perfectly, those cutscenes and voice acting were brilliant.
I just wanna say congrats to all people that were involved in making this masterpiece, you people are what makes this game alive even after all these years!
Sehr sehr schicke Mission... Danke! =)
Edit: Wir brauchten mit 8 Leuten + einen Zeus etwa 60min Spielzeit.
Die Angabe im Workshop wäre hilfreich ;)

I am not using any mods at all.
It's incredibly fun to play, the plot is short and sweet, and the last part of the mission, with the last stand is just the cherry on top, absolute must have for a quick playthrough either alone or with friends!
it's going into my favorites list for sure
Joshua, i gotta say, great fucking work, i tip my hat to you, man
