I got a script that does give a max amount of Mag to the player in his uniform and west.
DM me if you want to try it, to see if it is something you could use.

I would like you to remove the distance test so i can hide my backpack in the woods and go out and place a IED on the road. So annoying that i have to take the backpack with me and put it right next to me. My problem is when there is traffic on the road and i fail when detected by civilians.

Or maybe just give it a bigger distance like 10-15 Mtr.

No, because when backpack is in your chest, it's not part of your inventory, it's just an objecty attached

That's because de "ACE Interaction Features" from the mod have been temporarily disabled cuz of small issues that would affect medical items...

For now, set the missiles classnames on the whitelist, so they be recognized even inside backpack, so you can "Ace Interaction Reload" while equipping them

I haven't stopped to work on it yet, but I'll stop being a lazy azz and see trought it

Hey, I absolutely love the idea of this mod and want to use it but have just been running into one issue which is that if you take a backpack off in a building, the bag always drops all the way to the ground, meaning if you are strongpointed on a second or third story, you can't drop your pack and retrieve anything. Is there any known work around for this to allow putting the bag down in a building, especially off the ground floor?

I'm completely not a mod creator, but I had suggested this mod in some form as a joke in my units discord. My idea back then was just that stuff in your backpack can't be used directly, and need to be moved to your clothes or vest first...

The fact that this mod also requires to drop the backpack is a damn next level addition.

@R. Gonzalez hi! great idea of your mod, i've been dreaming about for years. But is there a way to somehow adapt the penalties for the AI in the same way, so as not to get an imbalance between - human player / npc?

How I would guess this. Maybe it is possible to prohibit AI from having reload from backpacks as well (except for shells for launchers) or make their reload slower if they reload from backpacks? In general, the game is able to distinguish where the AI ​​reloads from? from a backpack or not.

Any chance you will put in the Ace Drop BackPack function again, it is much more easy than using I and then drag the BackPack over?

As of the update from December 21th, temporarily the mod is working on "Ammo & Nades only" mode due to small issues found on the ACE interaction features. Will be properly fixed as soon as possible

As description, ACE Medical Categorized items (KAT included, don't know about ACM) are recognized by the mod on concern the Medical Interactions/Menu. You can also excempt them on CBA Options

Don't know if you ran already into some specific issue, regard a specific item, but that should be it

Do you plan for KAT & ACM (KAT Alternative) integration for their unique items that may require certain interactions remain available or may put items into the bag? (specifically the First Aid Kits are a big concern)

Love the idea, but im woundering: How does this work with ACE Medical? Will i be able to use medical items from the backpack while carrying? Will i have to move the medical items into my vest to use them or will i be able to acces the medical from the ground container?

Wish we could have a version that doesn't require ACE. Or maybe just the functionality that you can't access items from the backpack directly from the inventory like if you have mags or grenades stored, you'd have to transfer it to your vest or uniform for it to be "available" for use. :)

@onestar Mags on back of vest are great when you are prone. Pretty easy to reach IRL. On the other hand, dropping prone with a 50 lb ruck can break most men. :)
