The flags basically do this: HasMetal = Sparks in microwave and causes fire.
SmeltableSteelSmall = Becomes 1 unit of steel when smelted (is automatically added to smelt medium item recipe)
SmeltableSteelMedium = 2 units
SmeltableSteelMediumPlus = 3 units
SmeltableSteelLarge = 4 units

You can add the smeltable tags to any item and it automatically becomes smeltable into a raw resource (in the above case steel), even if broken.

@Rainmaker Sorry for being someone who really loves got back between VFE god bless STENDO_CLIP's soul, and Brita's weapons pack. What attracted me to your mod was the Craftable Mags and Homemade Suppressors along with the new guns you have added. Even though you most likely have no intention to do so (especially when 2 of them are post 1990's) but, what i'd like to see is the UMP-45, MP7 and Colt 9mm

Probably for the two basegame shotguns that this mod uses (Remington M870 and the Coach Gun), but I have no idea for all the other ones I've created.

I don't know about that, I haven't done any smelting myself at all and don't know if the tag would even work with guns. They do have a MetalValue and a HasMetal tag but again, I haven't done any smelting so I don't know what those do.

If I say yes, how much will it take? Not just the sound of this weapon, but customized sounds of all current weapons and corresponding suppressors, except for shotguns.

New Gun and Little Fixes Update Dropped!

-Increased Ammo Belts' and Bandoliers' capacities by 1.
-Increased Military Pouches and Packs capacities by 1.
-Introducing the RK-95! This gun was commission work for our generous Discord member Juca. :) It's a bit of a time-breaker by two years, but I was successfully pestered and then bribed to make it. :D It spawns at the same rate as the RK-62, and you can also get it from bandit and survivalist zombies.

Don't worry, on the very first day when I downloaded your mod, I read really carefully about not being compatible with any other gun mod, so I'm 100% certain that this is the only mod related to firearms. Many thanks and welcome back ! lol

This is the 1st time I'm using this mod since I've only recently started to enjoy using guns in the game and I just gotta tell ya, thank you for this. Giving the in-game guns IRL names is easier for me to know which one is which and that helps me out alot. Also SPAS-12 is my fave so far so thanks for adding that too LOL

Hi Rain. After 42.10 I noticed that your mod conflicts with one other mod, but I won't be able to tell which one. Whenever I shoot, the screen would blink and there is a mod error alert on the right side of the bottom of my screen. However, the alert only lasts very shortly when I shoot and I won't be able to pause then see what happens, because as long as the fire is stopped the conflict disappears. Is there any way I can find out which mod clashes with this one? Many thanks.

Hey Rain, I wanted to thank you for great mod. I appreciate it a lot.

I had a question. Do you happen to know of any old mods that have chainmail armor? I looked around and I couldn't find them.

I know you're really busy, but I wondered if there are any plans by you to make an armor package to go with your tools and weapons package.

If not please let me know, and I'll get to modding it. Just didn't wanna step on your toes.

Had a discussion with TIS about the long range weapons not seemingly wanting to hit their targets with a 8-12x scope. Currently I need to get up in their face for the shot to connect, despite using a bolt action rifle.

They said it's possible the values aren't set right. Because right now long range shooting feel very bad. I'm missing constantly with aiming 6.

Oof, a lot of these comments look pretty annoying for Rain even without having to get someone to convey your words for you. Well I don't want to waste your time but I wanted to add in my genuine thanks for the mod and your hard work. I imagine something like this isn't easy. I really enjoy it, works flawlessly for me. Then again, I know how to read and didn't install any other gun mods. Much appreciated!

"All my shotguns hit from 1 to 9 zombies at once. Just because they don't react to the pellets that hit them doesn't mean that they weren't hit.
I consistently score multi-kills with my shotguns when I let the aiming reticle finish before firing.
And if you have a problem with B42 shotguns not being the magic street sweepers of B41, please go tell TIS about that, because it wasn't me who introduced the projectile system.

I'm loving this m249, since it's as close as I can get to an m240, I suppose lore wise the m240b wouldn't even have been adopted by the army yet lol
