@feenjaren Actually, that doesnt really make any sense, stealing is something that would require a lot of bravery to be willing to do

I just want to know how much the various traits affect the chance of becoming brave. I surpassed my worlds custom maximum kills (with cowardly) and I still have not got the brave trait, im working towards the desenssitized but I would just like to know just how much of it is a bug vs the cowardly trait interaction

@ feenjareen this makes no sense, stealing can be difficult and very risky, it might require high intelligence and lots of guts. Depending on the context. Dont confuse a concept of honor with bravery, and in every case context matters. ;)

↓↓↓ thieves are most generally the opposite of brave ↓↓↓

thief would also make sense to get a higher chance to get it

Hey! Thank you for your hard work! I was using become brave in build 41, now in build 42 it's not showing on the list, I have resubbed multiple times, reinstalled the game twice, still nothing (in mod menu and in sandbox settings).

@Zoir

If they have it setup to where you get used to wearing armor overtime like how you natural become resistant to panic the longer your survive then i'd be fine as you eventually don't have to worry about it but, to my understanding, that isn't that case. Also when it comes to Muscle Strain, they have that tied to Weapon Skills and not Fitness and Strength which to me is just, WHAT?
zбir 15 Jan @ 8:36am
SDgamer have you ever chopped firewood, or used hand tools, irl? You actually get muscle fatigue. Or wore a gasmask? It's really uncomfortable if you're not used to it. No, I think the features are great and you're sulking.

It has potential, however as of the current state, it's too buggy to enjoy or commit to develop any big mods for it.
SDgamer 9 Jan @ 12:59pm
Question for Monkey, do you actually like B42 so far? I'm seeing modders who are rather disappointed with B42 so far and have no interest in modding PZ again. To me personally, the Devs dropped the ball (muscle strain and discomfort are terrible mechanics) and it's very concerning to me

Hey so I became brave, and as expected it removed cowardly, however, it did not remove fearful and agoraphobic, both traits normally conflicting with brave. Is this a bug? intended feature?
TheOofertaffy 5 Jan @ 2:21pm
So just to kind of clarify with the description, when you do become brave/desensitized, does it remove the traits like "Cowardly" and other traits that would give you a "Panicked" state?
AUTISTICMINIONS 4 Jan @ 11:55pm
veteran should have a chance of brave too, amazing mod though <3
Monkey  [author] 31 Dec, 2024 @ 1:13am
That would be part of a different mod. Reach out on discord _mon.key if you want to commission anything.
vsnegupal 30 Dec, 2024 @ 6:48pm
Panic does not have to be minimal, but it should be at a level that allows you to sleep
vsnegupal 29 Dec, 2024 @ 11:02pm
guh, I'm not sure, it looks imbalanced on one hand, but it seems like Brave should remove agoraphobia or claustrophobia (only), otherwise there's no way to counter them. Would it be very hard to write a function if you Brave then the panic from agoraphobia/claustrophobia doesn't go above first level? ps don't change hemophobia or any other trait

This is a good mood

Yeah desensitised took a big nerf unfortunately.
Sick Boy 28 Dec, 2024 @ 2:59pm
Just so ya know, Desensitized is no longer 0 Panic.

It was nerfed in b42. Nothing major, but its 85% reduced panic now. Brave is 70% reduced panic and stress.

Also Desensitized has a draw back of increased chance of nightmares. Brave has a bonus of +10% zombie grapple defense.
Monkey  [author] 21 Dec, 2024 @ 12:46pm
@miguel yeh. You can use either or both. I set the desensitised min-max kills higher than the become brave min-max kills since it’s a very strong trait.
sandyhookfakegiveusgunsback 21 Dec, 2024 @ 11:49am
Miguel i just wanted to say the same thin haha
Migueliiiiinnnnn 21 Dec, 2024 @ 11:36am
Hi, if I combine become desensitized and become brave. Like what is the difference? Brave is less panic and desensitized is 0 panic?

@vsnegupal A lot of new players started playing this game since I made this and this will give them a better chance at finding it.
vsnegupal 20 Dec, 2024 @ 4:15pm
what's the point, just update the original mod
agentsocks282 20 Dec, 2024 @ 3:26pm
I was waiting for a mod like this to come out for b42, thanks :-)
Smart Idiot 20 Dec, 2024 @ 2:11pm
生DarK死, one mod is Brave, the other is Desensitized.
kevincoleman37 20 Dec, 2024 @ 11:41am
this is a good idea. should be base game.
La Virgoneta 20 Dec, 2024 @ 11:26am
good job, but why 2 mods that do the same thing?. just asking not hating
Monkey  [author] 20 Dec, 2024 @ 11:22am
Soon it will remove nervous, hemophobic, claustophobic, agoraphobic. Thanks for reminding.
ZelkowTR 20 Dec, 2024 @ 11:15am
