'Cooper's are the profession that make barrels. And it requires a very specialized knowledge and tool-set. (sry I'm like this)
Also, considering now that Long Blade skill books are primarily found at military locations, I think replacing some of the Veterans skills for Long Blade makes more sense. Maybe instead of the trackin/spear/short blade skills they get more Long Blade.
Mechanic, Engineer and Electrician could also use an increase in skills to make it more comparable to the other professions.
You don't need to run through every post Schutte has made to have your meltdown. Get a grip.
...Server? ...Player complaints? ...in build 42?
Check your carbon monoxide detector.
DR now is only 3 first aid
kinda pissed me off after reading your description
I run the More Trait mod to make my heat sensitivity even worse lol, I'm an IRL woodworker, but I burn up in anything over 80*F, seems like a fair way to nerf my character in-game lol.
Imo the best thing u could do would be to let them start with metalworking gloves or a leather apron because both of those are very important for safety.
@Levi When I get more time I’ll be reworking the weaker traits like keen cook to be stronger to reflect your character’s hobbies better (because +1 in cooking is not very useful) but I want to keep the professions as specific as possible to the actual profession’s skills so I don’t think I’ll give everyone general skills, after all some people are hopeless at cooking and I want to keep that possible in game
@HideoKuze I haven’t tried it myself but I see no reason for there to be a problem, all this mod does is edit the skills for each profession. If that mod also edits the professions then one would overwrite the other but otherwise it should be completely fine.
Would love a version that has a few levels in every skill, adjusted however broadly you can assume the characters interests.
Like, if you're a professional adult in any field...you probably know how to cook some food for yourself at the end of the day...
