What is ACConfigs??? Not seeing it, though there is an AC_Config with 14 subcribers. What is it?
Boshty 24 Jul @ 3:54pm
Lucas, quit acting like a spoilt, entitled little piRat.
It's like this is your first time using mods for games or something. grow up and wait. or make a patch yourself in the meantime (which you can also upload to the workshop for others to benefit from too)

Just quit crying till you get your own way.

just incase this help anyone.
After detective work, i have found anchor chain had come uninstalled, assuming during a seapower update at some stage. as soon as i reinstalled it, all works fine!
i have also put the loading order as stated 5 comments below so that may have helped too

"1. ACConfigs
2. Anchor Chain
3. Sealifter
4. NTU Full capability Carriers
5. New Threat Upgrade
6. Pact Enhanced Lethality."

@Professor Funpancake

Not working for me

@camberiu1

Yes, but it's probably not too much to ask to at least say, "I'm not continuing with this project or I need some time." It's a maximum of three minutes of writing.

@lucas

AGM-114 is not being paid for this, he is doing it for free, out of the kindness of his heart. So accusing him of not being "professional" is quite funny.
Professor Funpancake 9 Jul @ 5:57pm
Those 6 are at the top, then a variety of planes/subs/boats/missions underneath in no particular order. Having these 6 up top in that order (if you have all of them) seems to fix it.
Professor Funpancake 9 Jul @ 5:56pm
Load order seems to correct it for me, was having issues now its loading fine. I have the following order of mods installed displayed on the mod manager. Let me know if it corrects it for you as well. I did a complete wipe of Seapower and reinstall on top of this as well.

1. ACConfigs
2. Anchor Chain
3. Sealifter
4. NTU Full capability Carriers
5. New Threat Upgrade
6. Pact Enhanced Lethality.
lucas 9 Jul @ 4:02am
It is simply unprofessional of AGM-114 not to respond
lucas 9 Jul @ 4:02am
@skybazer I did it exactly as in your two instructions but it still crashes so this mod should be updated
skyblazer 9 Jul @ 2:13am
Guys, I've been using Sealifter nonstop since November last year without issue or crashs and that is on stable and beta builds of Sea Power.

The last update that was needed was about 4months ago when the Devs changed to texture caching and added modded texture loading support.

Getting down to problems 90% of issues are from installation. My suggestion is you can use my short guide or Brothermunros on youtube to help guide you through it. If its still a issue head over to the BuOrd discord server for direct support if problems persist.
lucas 9 Jul @ 1:21am
Hey, you can just answer and not be so arrogant and stuck-up. That's disgusting.
GriffLeo 23 Jun @ 4:04pm
Hope its fixed.
MadMike 22 Jun @ 1:28pm
This is too much of a hassle to use now
lucas 19 Jun @ 8:00am
How ignorant can one be? Honestly, a response is possible; if you don't want to, you could at least write that!
filehip81 17 Jun @ 6:34pm
This mod needs an update plzzzzz
penquin 11 Jun @ 1:40pm
i be getting this too funpancake
Professor Funpancake 11 Jun @ 12:54pm
Loading gets a "null reference error" and stops on any custom ship trying to load into the game. Turning off sealifter corrects this, but cant play custom ships obviously.
Professor Funpancake 11 Jun @ 12:39pm
Update please ;-;
lucas 1 Jun @ 9:08am
Update?
Knowstalia 31 May @ 2:21am
Mod needs update it crashes when I use custom assets on missions. At first I thought I just need to resub and reinstall all my mods so I did but later on I found out it still crashes when I select custom assets that needs Anchor Chain and Sea Lifter, I did fresh install but the problem remains.
tankHUnt3r 28 May @ 10:25pm
So I went through and realized I had two install locations for Sea Power as I had moved it from one drive to another and inadvertently reinstalled it on the former drive. I made sure to wipe both this time and redo the setup and it worked perfectly.
Moussticot 28 May @ 12:02pm
basically I deleted all game files so there's none remaining in steam/common etc. ie a clean wipe and install. I reinstalled the game and reactivated sea lifer / anchor chain after re-downloading the anchor chain local files on github. Check if you have done the clean wipe or the last part (anchor chain local files)? Otherwise sad that is doesn't works for you
tankHUnt3r 27 May @ 9:03pm
I did the same as you @Moussticot and it didn't work.... I crash and freeze the second a mission loads.....
Moussticot 27 May @ 1:26pm
OK guys, I downloaded the game again and redid the whole Sea Lifter / Anchor chain activation process. It works for me!
Semor76 27 May @ 3:02am
Hmm...no response, no support. Mod seems dead?
Moussticot 25 May @ 1:10pm
same here, does not work anymore. Any fix incoming?
Sweet Baby Ray's 25 May @ 10:18am
the mod doesnt seem to work after the update hope it gets fixed soon
Semor76 25 May @ 9:05am
Same here. Mod is broken since the last game update.
Commander Jbug 23 May @ 7:37pm
Also still getting the Object Reference error when loading any mission. Hope this gets fixed soon
Madmax 23 May @ 2:19pm
So, this mod is still broken?
Sir_Edelweiss 14 May @ 8:34pm
every mod that uses this gets " Object Reference not set error " and forces a game freeze with error screen. only mods using this as a requirement seem to have this fatal game error.
Unusual Carrier 25 Apr @ 9:00pm
Is there any fix for the object reference not set to an instance of an object error?
iamblue91 25 Apr @ 6:25pm
Should this be at the top or bottom of the mod manager list?
Uniform61 18 Apr @ 12:23pm
@Flkyhtf - I loaded it last night. Look for it in the Workshop. Seems to be working well.
Flakyhtf 18 Apr @ 9:55am
@Uniform61 please let me know when you create that mod, I'd love it
Uniform61 11 Apr @ 12:54am
Hey, anyone got any ideas - I am trying to create a F-35 Mod. Everything is working fine but when the model comes in to the game, it leaves a pure white version of the aircraft floating nearby to the carrier that it is spawned on.

I know others had this kind of issue back in January. Is this a SeaLifter issue with my mod or something else?
Goydanator 9 Apr @ 10:33pm
Is there any documentation for mod development with this?
High Marshal Lee Martin 28 Mar @ 3:21am
how do I install this thing man
B-36 Enjoyer 9 Mar @ 3:16pm
What does sealifter do
ineedcontent1_3 7 Mar @ 1:20pm
to be fair I am tryna load the Arleigh Mod and its been giving me a hard time since the update (model won't load)
AGM-114  [author] 6 Mar @ 10:15pm
@G13 I'm not a fan either but the alternative to this approach would have likely have been internal resource replacement which would have made most mods of the type incompatible with eachother, harder to make and require manual installs and updates. If you have a better idea let me know.
AGM-114  [author] 6 Mar @ 10:10pm
The mod doesn't need sealifter.ini to operate.
If there are texture loading issue I will need to know what mod they are with and what version of the game you are using.
ineedcontent1_3 5 Mar @ 1:09pm
same thing, sealifter.ini is missing for me as well
Tasel 5 Mar @ 11:32am
the sealifter.ini is missing in the download
flacojo32 4 Mar @ 5:18pm
Any fix for the texture loading issues pending?
peanut M&Ms 4 Mar @ 1:46pm
@G13 TALOS what do you mean
G13 TALOS 4 Mar @ 1:52am
this mod and chain loader single-handedly ruined the modding scene in this game. barely anything made after it doesnt need it and the video install guide was outdated by day like 4 of it being up
bbtbmb 3 Mar @ 6:51pm
it was working.... now its not as far as textures are concerned
Flakyhtf 24 Feb @ 1:58pm
Guys, in order for the mod to work you have to download ChainLoader Preloader and set sealifter and anchorchain to high priority (basically putting them first in the mods list). I used this video and it worked for me: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fLE8w98rBEs
