One of the best mods ever made, simple and i dont feel like im cheating with too much info.
molecule31  [author] 28 Jan @ 3:26am
ah just restart game to get new position, they changed how it works so it's more static now
beetloaf 28 Jan @ 2:29am
i just changed the moodle size and they dont move left to compensate for the increased size
it might be a problem with lua moodles
beetloaf 28 Jan @ 2:27am
for some reason whenever i use this mod the moodles are half off screen
im doing this on the latest test build at 2560 x 1440 screen resolution
molecule31  [author] 25 Jan @ 1:10pm
yes
Aurel 25 Jan @ 11:21am
Does it work for 42.1?
NCat 11 Jan @ 9:41am
I don't understand why you add a new dependency mod to a mod that works fine without it.

Now the mod can't be activated without the dependency mod. I'm tired of adding dependency mod for one mod.
Orii7 11 Jan @ 6:40am
That works, thank you!
molecule31  [author] 11 Jan @ 5:18am
Okay, I quickly implemented this feature, I updated Moodles In Lua to version 8, so "Disabled" should appear in list, this option will load the last moodle textures that were loaded into memory, so put preferred moodles to the end of the mod order and restart the game
ossie 11 Jan @ 4:57am
Solution to my problem from below:
If your moodle quarters background are not showing up even when you selected the option in mod option menu - make sure that in the mod loader order the LUA mod and this mod are on the top of the list. Worked for me, may work for you too
molecule31  [author] 11 Jan @ 4:33am
and why any icons are not supported I answered a little earlier, I will try to add support for any moodle icons later, hopefully today
molecule31  [author] 11 Jan @ 4:32am
after you change the mod order, they should appear in the selection menu where you changed the frame or border before
molecule31  [author] 11 Jan @ 4:29am
currently only vanilla (Default) and my old moodles are supported, and make sure they are below Moodles In Lua too
Orii7 11 Jan @ 4:28am
That would be great, thank you!
gondolop 11 Jan @ 4:27am
I changed the mod settings and now only the frame of the moodle has changed to the frame from this mod, but the drawing itself remains the same.
gondolop 11 Jan @ 4:26am
but no, I think I was able to change the icons.
molecule31  [author] 11 Jan @ 4:24am
currently not, but yes it is possible, I should help the other creators if they want to make it compatible with this mod, but I think I will add another "Disabled" option that will render currently loaded textures in the game, meaning it will work as before
gondolop 11 Jan @ 4:23am
My moodles don't change.
Orii7 11 Jan @ 4:19am
Anyway I can make this compatible with Whiskey's Moodles?
I was working perfectly before the update
ossie 11 Jan @ 3:25am
sure
molecule31  [author] 11 Jan @ 3:25am
I sent you a friend request, can we chat?
ossie 11 Jan @ 3:24am
Re-installing the game and trying it on a new save didn't work either
ossie 11 Jan @ 3:21am
Nao i'm on win11
molecule31  [author] 11 Jan @ 3:17am
Do you use Linux? Because it currently has a broken mod menu
ossie 11 Jan @ 2:58am
the option to change to the quarter background appear in the mod menu but after selecting it, the background doesn't change, I tried disabling and enabling the mods, re-subscribing/re-downloading, loading in without then with the mods enabled. the Lua mod is above the quarter mod in the mod loading order, the options are selected in the mods options menu, I don't have any other mods that change moodles and the versions are 6 for this and 7 for LUA. Not sure if it's just a problem with my game or if others are also experiencing it.

Great mod btw, Thank You
molecule31  [author] 10 Jan @ 11:27pm
and select this texture pack in Options > Mods > Moodles In Lua > Border texture pack: Quarters
molecule31  [author] 10 Jan @ 11:25pm
Update is out, verify in the mod menu that quarters borders is version 6 and Moodles In lua is version 7 or higher
molecule31  [author] 10 Jan @ 9:18pm
A major update will be released soon and it is not compatible with old version and also not compatible with all custom moodles because they will be selected in the mod menu

here's short preview how it will work: https://molecule31.co.ua/notindex/moodlesinluaV7.mp4
Ichika Nakamasa 4 Jan @ 3:44pm
Yeah same issue here, tried unsubbing and resubbing and I still get v 1.4
molecule31  [author] 4 Jan @ 4:22am
check the version of the mod, if they still on version 1.4, then for some reason mods have not been updated, and yesterday after some tinkering with ouyin2000 it turned out that steam just did not updated mods and they were of an older version
Ichika Nakamasa 3 Jan @ 10:58pm
Yeah same, still broken on my end too

hopefully you can find a fix

Will continue to play with 64px moodles in the meantime
molecule31  [author] 3 Jan @ 6:16pm
I'll add you as a friend to ask questions and maybe test things because comments are not the best way to debug
ouyin2000 3 Jan @ 5:55pm
I'm still not getting the quarter moodles to appear. I have the dependency, no other moodle mods, with both of yours located near the bottom in the correct order. Not really sure what's conflicting?
molecule31  [author] 3 Jan @ 12:27pm
Updated dependency, now it should work with scale from font size
molecule31  [author] 3 Jan @ 11:27am
no i just forgot to implement scale with font feature and that it xd
Ichika Nakamasa 3 Jan @ 11:14am
Thanks for the fix btw, and sorry for not answering soonoer, but yes, just enabling this mod alone caused the moodles to disappear, so Im guessing it had something to do with me playing in 4k?
Orii7 3 Jan @ 11:12am
Thank you!
Great job with the mod btw
molecule31  [author] 3 Jan @ 10:47am
ahh i found where error was

as temporary fix apply in Settings > User Interface (UI) > Moodle Size to 64

but will fix it soon!
Orii7 3 Jan @ 9:53am
Unsubbing and resubbing from the two mods didn't work, only disabling this mod makes the moodles apear again
molecule31  [author] 3 Jan @ 4:09am
you can try to unsubscribe and subscribe from two mods, it should overwrite if anything was wrong
molecule31  [author] 3 Jan @ 4:06am
Do you use any other mods or anything else that can cause this?
Ichika Nakamasa 2 Jan @ 11:20pm
After the update this now causes my moodles to become invisible
molecule31  [author] 2 Jan @ 3:30pm
Update is out! Fixed some bugs and added new features, along with some customizations in the mod menu

*mod menu does not work correctly on Linux at the moment :(
homeworld 1 Jan @ 1:32pm
Yep, that's it! Thanks for replying so quickly and glad to hear about the update. I very much appreciate your work!
molecule31  [author] 1 Jan @ 12:48pm
Are you talking about the wobble effect? I'm preparing a big update and it should fix this and in particular this effect right now depends on the game frames, so it is not very consistent
homeworld 1 Jan @ 11:04am
Strange issue I'm having that may or may not have anything to do with this but figured I'd start here.

After the update and download of your dependency mod, I have this strange slow-mo effect happening when the moodles switch between stages. They pop in quickly at first but then seem to slow down to a crawl as they finish their pop in.

I am using this in conjunction with MandoDB's old moodle mod if that matters.

Not a big deal, just strange.
molecule31  [author] 29 Dec, 2024 @ 1:40pm
Mod updated! Added new dependency without it mod will not work
molecule31  [author] 28 Dec, 2024 @ 9:23am
Yes, it's known issue soon it will be fixed with several other issues
GullSolo 28 Dec, 2024 @ 9:15am
love this mod, not sure if its yours or a different moodle mod but they show up over the map when i open it.
molecule31  [author] 28 Dec, 2024 @ 3:15am
working on framework that fully replace ingame moodles with customization from mod menu and hotswap textures already half there so this mod will updated with dependency later
