Hello, can you repair your work jahpeg's L4D2 Ragdolls? Because its doll twitched badly when I used it, it has seriously affected my game experience, and I hope it can be updated and repaired😭

it's cool, i like the Ragdoll, but the one thing that kinda throws it of a lil is the wobbly movement, i still like it.:steamthumbsup:

Nah wait, it must be the compiler's fault, try this other one, follow the steps to install it correctly.

Although this one does have some restrictions, it would be bad luck for any errors to occur during compilation; I don't think it will mess up the ragdoll like the previous one.

try this, Generally, it ignores all the limitations that a normal compiler has for Source, but it can end up messing up the entire ragdoll.

ok so now my problem is that crowbar doesnt compile the left foot of the skeleton, did i compile it incorrectly

I figured it out and made my own, but now my problem is the feet not colliding with the ground. Not a single ragdoll mod on the l4d2 workshop not have feet collision. I based off my .phy file off of this mod and it doesnt have feet collision, either your mod miraculously has the feature or its just a bluff. the most popular ragdoll mod on the workshop (ragdoll 2.0) suffers from this problem too. the problem doesn't seem to be fixable

as i am looking in right now there are skeletons modeled for the feet just like the rest of the skeleton, its just that for some weird reason it just doesnt work, examples for ones that do work is this one and your mod :steamsad:

@Orak Does the model from which you import the phy file not have a skeleton modeled for the feet? That should be the problem; you could learn a bit about how to create skeletons and thus add the structure for the feet.

@Orak I don't think it's necessary for you to send me a video (I don't think I can solve it... Sorry) But I understand that the feet simply go through the ground most of the time when falling? It's as if they don't exist.

@Orak Ahh I see, in that case, the skeleton of the model from which you are importing the ragdoll does not have a foot skeleton, the other option is that it is a problem with how L4D2 handles ragdolls, which would be strange.

sorry what i mean by this is that the feet on ragdolls seem to just not collide with the ground, its pretty irritating

@Orak I don't quite understand what problem you have, I can't give you a guide on how to make phy skeletons because I don't know how to do them, this and other addons I uploaded are the work of other people, I just re-uploaded them and modified the joint values, they're minor things.

hey pheonix how do you add feet collision to ragdolls? been trying to port other ragdoll mods to l4d2 but all of them dont have feet collision except for yours and it really irritates me :steamfacepalm: searching on google doesnt help either

Can you provide the name of the .phy files to replace them? A few days ago I tried but there was no effect, I still think it was because I was using an addon that altered the appearance of common infected, which would be strange because other ragdoll addons work perfectly.
