And JOAT_MainCreationMethods.lua
Right at the top of the file at local function JOAT_Trait you can find the entry for 20.
You had a choice. be patient and informative, or berate a honest subscriber's question. You chose to do the latter. Isn't really a good look. it takes far more effort and costs a fair bit of public respect to chastise genuine people asking honest questions, than it does to actually help by answering.
I too wanted to know, and looked. I did not expect the developer of the mod to be disrespecting people like me interested in such a basic detail of the mod.
@GarglingGlass From what I can tell, it is a 20 point cost. I can't seem to get it running, though it seems I'm on the wrong version. still I perused the files, and it seems a value of 20 is applied to this mod. I presume -20.
Okay.
You either learn how to read very simple .txt and .lua files
Or you don't.
Choose.
I will not re-package and re-upload someone else's work. :)
Call it a professional courtesy of us modders who do all of this A) on our spare time, and B) for free.
If you want to port a mod from B41 to B42 just for your own personal use, that's a different topic.
Also, there are trait mods out there that have traits that add points after character creation. So they do not count towards getting the +75% gain. In case you are interested in looking to see how it was done and make that an option.
or for those interested in the master of none part, look into mods that cap how high you can get a skill based on how many points you start with. I did a server iteration once where you capped at 5 if you had no skill, 7 if you had a starting skill of 1. And 9 and 10 cap if you have 2 or 3. If you did this you would cap at 7 so never master any of them. But could take additional traits for skills you want to level to 10.
To the creator, I like it how it is though.
