tv already improves mood, and there's a mod that adds the introvert/extrovert stuff too, but i forgot what it's called xD and i think it's only for B41

We need a trait where the outdoors increases boredom and the indoors/ tv improves mood xD
I'll need to look through things more (still new so I've got a lot to learn as I've not played in years)

to fix the mod for yourself after the 42.1 update, go to Steam/steamapps/workshop/content/108600/3392745472/Boredom Tweaks/42
open mod.info with a text editor, then change the value "versionMax=42.0.2" to "versionMax=42.1" or remove that line to not have the issue in the future

Same, after the massive update this is the only mod that broke thankfully.

This mod no longer shows it can be activated after the new patch today.

i do like the mod, really.... but i'm kinda finding that i never need to read a book anymore. that's a little bit sad, after i've gone and built up my lovely library :)

maybe an option doing tasks merely freezes your boredom. instead of reducing it? just something to make a library valuable again.

Yes people, some mods are not compatible with each other depending on what each mod modifies, always keep that in mind for any other mod.

Can not confirm dashbord-bug with this mod. Works fine for me. After testing "Fill bottles with petrol"-mod is broken atm in case you are using that one @lastdragon80

I get bored while reading skill books. I wonder if its in conflict with another mod.

weird. i thought that's what it was doing. (was reading a book but i kept getting bored - it really irritated me xD)
can i use a different mod that makes reading fun with this then?

@Fuyuno I don't think reading increases boredom, but instead halts its climb altogether. You shouldn't be growing more and more bored when you're reading.

I have same line of thought. Been moving my loot in my base, got few more shelves so I wanted to organise it. Not even 1/4th of way through I get hit by boredom moodle. It's annoying as hell and this mod fixes that. It's a good mod

@Diper you shouldn't get bored when a zombie is near - it's a problem when you;re organizing your base etc and ha s trivial butt annoying workaround (make a base where the main area is "outside") so I prefer this mod. Overall boredom is not a great mechanic as currently implemented.

Now my character only gets bored when I alt-tab out and leave the game running.
