This is fun at first, but youll come to realize quickly that it is very OP. The gun stock melee doesnt seem to be affected by moodles or muscle strain, its always the same speed and damage, and it almost always knocks the zombie on their ass. i feel there should be some balancing with this mod.

Nice mod, but can you make it broke windows? And i think sound effect a little too soft for blunt attack.

多次测试也重新订阅了把本mod置底不装枪械mod 偶尔能运行

this mod might still be partially broken, there are unpredictable instances where animation would simply freeze during buttstroking

Pistols can make good melee weapons in unexpected self defense situations, but they are not good blunt weapons overall. It's less effective than just using a rock & doesn't have the momentum of a spade/shovel.
A pistol-whip shouldn't be able to splatter a zombies brains quickly.

Is the damage a universal thing or does it vary by weapon weight or condition? May be worth looking into if it's possible to have the stats vary or even be defined/overridden by modders for custom or vanilla weapons.

@KWG, Pistols can be pretty devastating blunt weapons IRL. My EDC weighs over 2.5 pounds with the mag, and I have no doubt that under duress, I could cave in a skull with it pretty easily. Steel is a lot harder and denser than bone.

So when you hit something then stop holding ctrl, the animation turns back into the default push animation , would like to see it fixed and still maintain the gunstock hit even if you released ctrl after initiating the attack.

When I press spacebar and quickly let go of it, then aim again, the character gets into a sort of a loop of shoving and then buttstroking everytime until I stop aiming, it's like the vanilla shove overlaps the buttstroke because it lasts longer
