One item that I can think of (off the top of my head) to test this is "Mechanical Wings" (a Back-Slot item) (Also you can just open the dev console and type "Mechanical Wings" to obtain them for testing just letting you know lol )

Once you have them equipped, press/activate the fly ability in your abilities bar and it should activate and you will be given a new ability while you are flying, called "Swoop", if you were to hide the "Swoop" ability, and then deactivate the flight ability, and then activate the flight ability again, the "Swoop" ability becomes un-hidden.

Anyways I hope this helps you troubleshoot and replicate the problem on your end (Here's to hoping the bug/problem is easy to fix on your end if you are going to take a look at fixing it )

This is awesome. Only thing that seems lacking is any temporary skills, like Swoop when you have flying, will reappear if you get them again. But that's minor compared to how useful this is.

Thank you for making this! I threw something like this together a couple years ago before the new UI was finished and was dreading having to figure that mess out again. Your approach is a lot cleaner and nicer to work with!
