Crusader Kings III

No army sound delay

If you want to disable the game's ability to create crash reports altogether delete the "C:\Users\<username>\Documents\Paradox Interactive\Crusader Kings III\crashes" folder then create a new text file and rename it from "New Text Document.txt" -> "crashes". (Make sure you've got file extensions on.) On Windows a file and a folder can't have the same name so you're preventing the game from recreating that folder. This prevents the file bloat and the popup.

what files should we be deleting? just files in crashes or are their other folders affected?

Regarding the crash, the game dumps 250MB+ into the documents folder of the game on exit, so clean it up regularly or it will bloat considerably over time.

@Agami Would add a note to the description as I was looking around to confirm it was from this mod.

@TheBigE yeah, for some reason adding a custom sound does this.
Granted, it doesn't crash during gameplay, so it's not a big deal.

Apparently this mod causes the game to crash to desktop upon trying to exit. Not sure why, but it's still a thing that happens.

I thought the game was just lagging when I did this I can't believe they just made it that way, literally unplayable without this mod now.

I did not notice it until I see this mod.

made the sound interrupt itself (if you click a bunch) and tied it to volume controls, so it will be adjusted with either Interface volume or Sound Effects slider

@eztoom right, I see what you meant. Their original stated goal was to make sure the game isn't too loud. But this specific delay was only added with Legends of the Dead, and to my knowledge, they never commented on it.
I can see the possible reasoning, but it just *feels* wrong.

I'd love to give a source. You can find it in the original sound design dev dairy.

That move was intentional to represent the strategic change and to not overload the player with too much noise.
