I'm not entirely sure what is causing the addon not to work, if you could maybe tell me more info about you're setup, I could help out. You might have too many addons.

I always download my addons on the workshop, not Gmod.

Did you restart the game after downloading? Sometimes addons won't work unless you restart Gmod.
