Anyone know how to fix the mod in B42.10 ?

@TwiZteD4LyFe yes in version 42.9 it worked, in 42.10 unfortunately not anymore, I hope for an update!

the mod works fine except if i walk 2 squares away the music stop playing, any ideas why?

@FreneticYouth Yeah I don't know what to do. Maybe this mod is for an earlier version of B42. IDK. Not sure what to do to get it working.

I cannot play the cassettes,
or insert the cassettes into the boombox etc. in the existing slot

cassettes are not spawning :(

I also don't think I can interact with the battery of the portable player

Hey everyone. I'm having a few issues that I could some assistance with:
- unable to add cassettes to all devices such as the portable player, boombox, and car player
- cannot add record to vinyl player
- cannot add headphones to portable player

I tried starting a new game and just enabled this mod plus a few music packs. So I don't think it's a mod conflict. I believe that I receive some kind of error about the boombox. I do have this mod enabled also: Tsar's Common Library B42.

Any suggestions?

Music cassettes are extremely rare, to the point of being unfindable, music players are even rarer.

Some tips to mute radio mumble on vehicle while playing music without using mods, go to audio.settings>advance>vehicle then turn down the variable starting with "vehicleradio" ex. "vehicleradioprogram" and "vehicleradiostatic" to 0.

Getting the same issue as the folks below

there are no settings to turn off radio mumbling, you need a separate mod to do that, and said mod isnt up to date with B42, i think the issue is that when you turn on the cassette radio it also turns on the normal car radio, and if you try turning off the normal car radio it also turns off the cassette radio

radio mumbling is a setting you can turn off. anyone else having an issue where their game sound cuts out after a few minutes? not sure if is this mod or not. 42.9.

I am also getting the radio mumbling noises while playing music. Only tested it in a car so far. Anyone else?

Does this not require Tsarcraft?

the spawnrate for the cassettes is done in your addon.

why cant i find any cassete's ? do i need to add them myself or is there a bug at the moment?

If anyone is having trouble adding custom songs make sure you check which "yourMusic" folder you're using.

Instead of doing the process in:
\3397198968\mods\TrueMusic_b42\media\yourMusic

Use:
\3397198968\mods\TrueMusic_b42\42\media\yourMusic

so yeah having same issue as Jackie, the base radio is also playing while using the true music cassetes

the radio in the car is playing over the top of the cassettes. is there a way to disable to the radio?

I cant seem to get custom music in the game, do i need both this and the original mod enabled? and if not, i followed all the steps correctly so why cant i get my music to exist? (meaning even with cheats/debug i cant find the cassettes anywhere, not just spawns)

I suppose you could build your own add-on mod and enable it locally if the add your own music script doesn't work for you.

In a future update, you could add an option to equip the tape player on your belt, just like the walkie talkie, right? It would be great, and very basic.

@Simply-Tim Spawning is bricked, there's a workaround you need to do. Some music packs I've noticed put the tag in called (spawn rate fix)

Do you download/Set up this mod the same way you do the B41 Version? I've tried it that way and put my songs in, the songs show up in the item list in debug mode but they don't spawn at all and when I check the mod list in game (like in the world) the mod shows up as [ERROR] True music instead of what it should be, the songs do work when I spawn them in and play them. Also when I place the boom box it's like missing textures.

I think the converter still works, its just the steam community so people instead of realizing they were on the b41 version of the mod folder instead of the b42 version before saying it doesn't work

this mod breaks all tvs and radios if you play local co-op. only player 2 can use the menu to interact with them.

It doesn't add my music when I run the exe... no errors, just doenst do anything. It says completed and added, lists all songs but it doesn't seem to really do anything (I am using a item spawner to check. I can spawn every other addon but not my own songs).

the cassett spawning is so low, im playing for at least 80 hours and only got 10 casetts or so. is there any possibility to adjust the spawnrate?
