Hey @Venatrix R̷i̷t̷z̷ so this mod is similar to "AuthenticZ" but without physically adding items to the backpack? + webbing.
Jacketedgore 25 Jun @ 12:05pm
Hii, thanks to the creator of the mod,but there is a chance to get visuals for the objects that are attached?
Dilitan Ridhomi 31 May @ 3:18am
has there been an update to fix the visuals bug?
Noisy Koi 18 Apr @ 2:27pm
perhaps military bags could have two special slots for rifles and the ability to equip a holster on the shoulder straps?
Noisy Koi 18 Apr @ 2:17pm
any chance we could get this but for military bags too?
SecretFear 9 Apr @ 9:50pm
Holy crap. I've been using this a bit and just needed to come in and say THANK YOU! This is awesome! Very cool and creative.

I took an unannounced break. I see your comments, expect updates soon
NivekRkain 26 Mar @ 8:36am
the static models of the item do not appear in the backpack, is it a related bug? because I use the vanilla clothing expansion mod.
Is this compatible with mods that modify hiking bag textures? (Using survivalist hiking bags)

Just echoing what @SDgamer mentioned out of hope that you are willing to consider expanding this functionality overall, and of course with some of the other (realistically viable) bags as well. @Noir's backpack MODs were active in every single MODDED Run I've done since I discovered them. Although as @SDgamer mentioned, it seems as if @Noir is unfortunately no longer around. We would all be forever grateful to have such an awesome MOD Dev like you to breathe some life back into these functions we all adore so much! That said, I want you know that we are NOT entitled to anything from you, and the work you've already put into this is more than any of us deserve to ask for. You are truly awesome! We may have suggestions and desires for more of this EPIC content, but I don't want anyone to feel pressured into giving more than they're WILLING to give on their own! Thank you again for this incredible MOD!

Nice mod, im happy that can use light on backpack. Can you ad maybe working slot on back for guitar? Well, so that the guitar can be seen from behind in an upright position (neck up). With Lifestyle mod (playing music in guitars and e.t.) it can make long walk and camping at night more fun :)
SDgamer 30 Jan @ 1:02pm
just asking since the modder Noir doesn't seem to be around anymore, do you plan on try to make your own versions of Noir Backpack Attachments? Since all Backpacks have straps and most have side pouches i feel like you should be able to put water in the side pouches and be able to make a flashlight mount on the strap. Someone already made a mod where you can put Big Flashlights and Hand Torches on your belt

Thank you so much for the update to hide attached objects, perfect solution for now. Greatly appreciate you taking the time to implement it, and don't fret about the time any updates might take, we're all willing to wait for such a great mod!
LeFrench 20 Jan @ 2:15am
your fix works great. can't see the attached objects anymore. (i did have to force the update tho by unsubscribing and resubscribing. the usual workshop lag issue.)

no worries on the bottom slot. vanilla is fine.
Venatrix R̷i̷t̷z̷  [author] 20 Jan @ 1:01am
@LeFrench: you can already attach containers like the first aid kit and stuff to the new slots I added. I wanted to have that Bottom slot retain vanilla functionality for now.

I have also implemented the shrinking to effectively hide the items for now, that way they won't be floating below the character. Please let me know if this doesn't work.

@BRSaura: I added the tag "LightWhenAttached" and fixed a misplaced comma in the code. I tested this and a full container weighs less when attached to the backpack than when just sitting in your inventory. I hope this takes care of any issues?

Thanks everyone for the patience.
LeFrench 20 Jan @ 12:28am
yes. that will work. reduce the size of the attached items to a pixel to hide it. nice.

a bedroll only in the bottom slot? that's a shame. i never use a bedroll. what do you think of trying to expand the utility of that bottom slot to not just bedrolls. perhaps we could attach a first aid container? a fanny pack? or a canteen? to that bottom slot as other options?
Venatrix R̷i̷t̷z̷  [author] 19 Jan @ 7:00pm
@Luna and everyone else mentioning attachment points; I am working on a very brief fix for just scaling the item to hide it until I have the time to decipher positioning for everything.

@LeFrench: the bottom slot is the vanilla slot for bedrolls.

@BRSaura: I'll look into this.
Luna 18 Jan @ 4:21pm
Great mod in theory, but echoing what others have said: no coordinates for items in the code makes any backpack-attached items float under your character. Hoping for an update in future that fixes this. Thank you for your hard work, nonetheless!
Dueler 17 Jan @ 11:10pm
@LeFrench Looking at the code I see nowhere with coordinates to set where items show up so I'm not surprised.
LeFrench 13 Jan @ 5:04pm
hi. great mod. simple and not overpowered. but the items still don't store correctly. the items stored in slot 1, 2 and 3, all weirdly dangle directly under your character, almost touching the ground, hanging off a invisible string. they all seem to also share the same 'slot' as they are stacked on top of each other. the stacking is not so bad, its more the hovering between your legs an inch off the ground that is ...unsettling.

ps. what can store in the 'bottom' slot of the backpack? so far i have been unable to find any item to store there. i have not tried items exhaustively, so i'm sure there is something, but just checking if you know what they are?
BRSaura 7 Jan @ 3:12pm
I wish containers attached would use the encumbrance reduction instead of just getting the attached bonus, carrying anything like this makes it not worth it since you will get several extra kg on you at all times
Bacon Statham 7 Jan @ 1:58pm
Am I missing something with this mod? The only thing I've been able to attach so far is a canteen, can you not attach guns or weapons or anything else?
jimkl 6 Jan @ 11:33pm
Definitely feels like this should be vanilla, especially with the changes to the loot, hiking bags should be a coveted rarity.
kArMaFPS 6 Jan @ 9:52am
I have mod in my modlist for now, but dont using, waiting a lot for updating.
Venatrix R̷i̷t̷z̷  [author] 3 Jan @ 10:26pm
@kArMaFPS I am aware of this issue and it's been on the back burner for now. I can implement a fix this weekend when I have time to expand on the mod. Thank you for pointing this out, and I hope, although ugly, it doesn't prevent you from using the mod.
Xefaria 3 Jan @ 10:00am
Redownloading the mod fixed it. Steam isn't properly updating anything, a few other mods I use were broken or outdated.
Xefaria 3 Jan @ 8:58am
When I equipped a big hiking bag it added only 1 slot and I couldn't attach anything to it.
kArMaFPS 2 Jan @ 11:50pm
You have a clipping problem to be fixed... When we store weapons in slots 1, 2 and 3 of the climbing backpack, it stores one on top of the other, as if they used the same slot. I remember a mod in build 41 that used both sides of the backpack and the back, maybe it won't be difficult to fix, disabling the mod for now, visually it is very ugly.
Coby 1 Jan @ 2:43pm
hey thats nice i dont need to make a new save
Venatrix R̷i̷t̷z̷  [author] 1 Jan @ 2:39pm
@dasclay This is fixed. Thanks for letting me know!
Coby 1 Jan @ 2:07pm
just a question, but do i need to start a new save?
dasclay 1 Jan @ 1:54pm
I see the problem I think it was conflicting with Neely's Items mod... I will make a new mod list and check.
dasclay 1 Jan @ 12:55pm
Hello, Mod seems cool, question is.
I just found a big hiking bag, when I put it on, no hot bar slots show up. Am I suppose to craft something? how to access this function?
