Thank you, but at the same time I was looking for another, conflicting mod, it turns out that I had another mod to brush your teeth :-)

I brushed my teeth, but Moodle still stayed, how many times need to brush my teeth so that the moodle is gone?

I currently do not have a lot of time unfortunately to put toward sitting down and learning more of the syntax and then putting out an update. Maybe in the future, or maybe someone will come along and do things better. So I would say that you're safe to do what you wish. I appreciate you checking out my mod!

I do enjoy this mod but I'd like to change some of its functions for myself, like moving the context menu option to brush the teeth onto toothpaste rather than toothbrush, and primarily being able to use them even if they're inside containers nested in my inventory, just like as of 42.8 you can use a spoon to eat food even if it's in your bag.

Are you planning on any updates anytime soon? Cause if I rework the mod for personal use, I won't be getting your updates. Or have you abandoned the mod altogether?

This mod is nice i like it, but I have 2 issues with it. 1 when i brush my teeth, sometimes the brushing sound stays in the location until I brush my teeth again. And 2 (i think its this mod) the moodle for "you need to brush your teeth" (or something simialr- i forgot the exact text) stays even if i brush my teeth. Otherwise good mod :3

I was thinking of changing the FindFirstType() when looking for toothpaste to FindFirstTypeRecurse() so it in theory would search inside nested containers of yours, but I presume you used the former for a reason, since simply changing that line of your code did not give me ability to have toothpaste inside my containers.

I believe you know what you were doing when writing the code, so maybe you have an answer why wouldn't FirndFirstTypeRecurse() work?

I see that the mod makes it so that it can be activated by right click on toothbrush and then the code makes a check whether you posses a toothpaste in your main inventory.
Fair enough, it works well, and what I end up doing in game is make sure to have a toothpaste always with me, I have my favourite toothpaste in the inventory, and then whenever I come across a RANDOM TOOTHBRUSH in a bathroom of someone else's, I grab it and use my PERSONAL TOOTHPASTE.

you see... wouldn't it make perfect sense to have my own favourite TOOTHBRUSH, and use a random found tube of toothpaste?

LOL why would you make it the other way around? Just asking, no offence, the mod is really good in fact.

custom animations would boost the immersion of this mod 10 fold. i know you said in an earlier comment you werent an animator, but plz plz consider finding someone who can --would make this a top rated mod

hi author, i do not know if anyone else has gotten this issue, but i have encountered a bug in multiplayer when a player who is not the host brushes their teeth, the tooth brushing sound will continue to play after their character has finished brushing. it was pretty funny at first but very quickly drove us insane and cursed our safe-house with the eternal teeth brush sound. just wanted to let you know author in case you are able to fix this issue.

hahaha, it actually is but only IRL lol. That'd be a challenge though to make useDelta get gradually smaller as you drain the content of the toothpaste.

Hmm... not really worth it. But he was having a laugh though, I guess, you've probably misinterpreted that, but it's so funny lol

"toothpaste tube tube has 10 uses" Don't you know the rules of the universe? It has 10 uses but it gets exponential : The more you drain it, the more uses it have, until the last drop which is good for like 10 uses and then it's done.

Suggestion : Toothpick for a tiny amount of hygiene per use and a tooth cleaning stick for a moderate amount per use.

Maybe even a wild toothpaste craft using herbs?

This week has been crazy so haven't had much time to be on my pc. I can say that the next update will include toothpaste variants, changes to how not having brushed affects your character, polish translation, and general balance/fixes. Also being able to brush teeth while both the toothpaste and brush are in a container is something I want to add, just have to figure out how first.

@Myke Can you make it so that you can brush even if the toothpaste is in a cabinet? You can activate the brush while its still in (and return the brush when done) but not the toothpaste. Just a small QOL thing. Using B42 if it makes a difference

@Myke, when I try to add the mod, it says it requires \MoodleFramework (note slash), although the dependency is there and has MoodleFramework mod id (without the slash). I'm on build 41.

Just got an idea to make an immersive dental health mod and expanded it quite a bit, then decided to go search for what mods already add it and here it is! Looks nice! :sadisthappy:

I suggest to make it possible to brush without toothpaste ; but it won't be as good.
e.g. brushing without toothpaste won't give happiness and is much less effective,
while using a toothpaste will grant you "Fresh Breath" moodle which decreases (future) eating/drinking hygiene damage for a day or so. This effect will diminish gradually, i.e. it'll be only 50% of strength after half a day.

Another suggestion with future toothbrush durability is to make them never break completely, but the less durability it has, the less effective it becomes.

Tchernobil uploaded a new version of MoodleFramework just for B42 which will be updated rather than the one you've set as a dependency, you should switch the dependency to the new one just as a heads up

@Kable I do have plans to bring in different brands of toothpastes. Some will even increase your character's happiness more than others (different taste). I'm also thinking about different toothbrushes as well whenever I add the toothbrush durability in. The brush time buffer is a great idea and I will add that to my list! Thanks for the kind words!

@堂堂正正冲国人 I've tested it and both versions seem to be compatible as they share the same namespace. Since this mod is for both b41 and b42 and there can only be one version of MoodlesFramework at a time I'm not going to add the b42 version to the page. I will however make a note informing b42 players to dl the correct version in the description. Thank you for bringing this to my attention.

An advice: You might need change mod page to need Moodles Framework B42. The one you used now is probably not update too often. The author said he is gonna focus on the new one

@Myke regarding the effectiveness of brushing, could make different quality toothpaste or even toothbrushes? Increasing the duration before the need to brush again or like a fresh breathe moodle for using high quality toothpaste/brush. Thank you for your hard work/modding ❥︎

@GestumStage I unfortunately am not an animator, maybe it is something I can look into in the future. But there is an animation for feedback to show that you are brushing your teeth. I just re-used the vanilla face washing animation. Sorry that the lack of custom animations turned you off from the mod.

@Coffee Dragon I don't think adding a randomized skill check to teeth brushing will be ideal given how often you will need to do it. If I do add something like that, it will probably just diminish how effective the brushing was rather than "failing". But teeth brushing attracting zombies is do-able and something I can look into changing if that is something that is wanted.

Hey, just some ideas for recipes to make toothbrush & toothpaste from basic materials. Twigs could be crafted (chewed) to have a frayed end for a very simple toothbrush with limited use. Charcoal can be ground with water to make a very simple paste. Baking soda can be used for this too. Thankyou for this mod!

If you want to make it more PZ 'realistic', then there should be a skill check to see if you randomly fail brushing your teeth and get cavities anyway... and the sound of brushing should alert every zombie with in a three square mile radius :)

Is there any other file that would need to be translated? If "Toiletries" is the only word (as it's a name of a new category I believe) then it could either be translated as "Przybory higieniczne" or simply "Higiena" (would opt for the second one).
