Sorry for insinuating anything its just I know from modding my own ships that even I kinda forgot to do that once when messing around with the kirov a week ago XD

The issue with the ka-25ts could be from when the dev's winter update did add a flight of ka-25ts's to the vanilla kiev's so maybe their game needs to be re-verified then their mod re-enabled possibly.

Its not that, I tried it and it functioned fine, I have an identical version to you all. The issue is on his end, ive seen a similar issue where someone's vanilla Ka-25TS just totally broke, which might be it

Sounds like they might have accidentally forgot to add it the ship's allowed to launch/retrieve list under its squadron list in the ship's ini file.

if it is that being the issue its actually quite a simple fix.

it seems i cant launch the Ka-25TS from the Carrier, its stuck in "Aircraft waiting for Launch" no mods exept this one active
