@Kevworth2: It's probably a mistake I made in the code, where the tooltip says one thing (e.g. all different eras but from the same civilization) and then it got changed later on to be something different (e.g. all the same era from different civilizations) and I forgot to change what the tooltip says.

As the mod is from 2014, I do not remember the theming specifications, but I'll look it up in the code later to see what they actually are.

The theming bonus for Fane of Raman and Prism Shrine don't work even if I did put in the correct great works. Any possible explanation as to why? I am playing with other fire emblem mods like Fire Emblem Natural wonders and weapons triangle overhaul.

@turkeyroastbig Look at the Secret Shop picture.

@Kiang i have moved the mod over to multiplayer for our big mod gmaes, this could have something to do with it but all the others are working fine

@The Village Drunk: Thanks for subscribing and leaving a comment! As for your bug, however, I'm afraid I have no idea what the problem might be. Out of all of the wonders, the Tower of Valni was the most thoroughly tested and de-bugged one! That said, I'm terribly sorry to hear that it's giving you trouble, and I'll certainly take another look at it just to be sure.
Lokqaoc 23 Jan, 2016 @ 2:22am
I am seeming to have a bug with the Tower of Valani, in that none of the units i put in the city weather they be purchased bought or gifted gain any xp, also tried ranged naval and melee with no change. Any ideas?
Lunais 1 Jan, 2016 @ 7:53pm
It was no problem. Thanks for correcting me though; seems I was wrong about how the Temple of Artemis works. This does mean the Tower of Guidance gives a huge Food bonus in the late game, so I'm going to tune it down a bit
Kiang  [author] 1 Jan, 2016 @ 6:57pm
@Emperor Quagy: Wow, that is a lot of hard work and some very dedicated number crunching! Thanks for your detiled report. I looked into the way the Temple of Artemis works, but, lo and behold, the Temple of Artemis (and the Aztec Floating Gardens) bonus applies to ALL food produced. Everything else (like the tradition finisher, swords into plowshares, etc.) only boosts excess food, as noted. Still, this was not something I had considered, so thanks for drawing it to my attention! :)
Lunais 1 Jan, 2016 @ 6:48pm
Unexpected "bug": Tower of Guidance is adding on the Food bonus prior to subtracting the amount needed to sustain population. However, (correct me if I'm wrong) the Tradition branch policies and the Temple of Artemis (and I assume all other Food bonuses) adds the bonus after subtraction.

The difference is significant; for example:
City with 25 population is producing 55 base Food. If the bonus applies after subtraction we get (55 - 2 x 25) x 1.15 = 5.75 Food per turn. But if the bonus applies prior to subtraction we get 55 x 1.15 - 2 x 25 = 13.25 Food per turn.

I checked both the Temple of Artemis source code (Steam\SteamApps\common\Sid Meier's Civilization V\Assets\DLC\DLC_06\Gameplay\XML\CIV5Buildings_NewWonders.xml) and your code and the Food modifier seems to be coded exactly the same, so I can't find what's wrong. Any ideas?

@Kiang: Oh so the same way in which one simply puts all the wonders in their capital city?
Oh well; what will be will be. enjoying the mod awesome work and hope the Secret shop thing gets fixed. Thanks for your time!
Kiang  [author] 25 Aug, 2015 @ 11:47pm
@Knight.R: Oh haha "wonderbloating" is just making the game somewhat unbalanced by adding a ton of wodners to it.
Knight.R 25 Aug, 2015 @ 11:05pm
@Kiang: Thanks by the way whats "Wonderbloating"?
Kiang  [author] 25 Aug, 2015 @ 5:09pm
@Knight.R: That is a bug. Thank you for alerting me to it. I will double-check the source code and see if there are errors. Sorry for the late notice. I was gone all summer.

@ubisoft.mig: I am a notorious wonderbloater myself. If you delete the aptly-named file, yes, you will have access to both vanilla and modded wonders.
ubisoft.mig 13 Aug, 2015 @ 12:52pm
I have the slight issue that i wish to wonderbloat, if i follow the quide of "To re-enable the vanilla wonders, locate your "MODS" folder, navigate to the "Fire Emblem Wonders" folder, and delete the xml file named "DELETE THIS FILE TO GET NORMAL WONDERS BACK."" Will i have access to both vanilla & mod wonders? or will it disable the modded wonders?
Knight.R 18 Jul, 2015 @ 1:18pm
For the Secret Shop i noticed that the other civs dont neeed to unlock the commerce policy to build it. The player however does is this a bug or did i missread the notes?
Other than that awesome mod.
ilovemyjuicebox 23 Jan, 2015 @ 11:03am
Add Altea mod pls
Laughing Dog 15 Jan, 2015 @ 11:14am
Tower of Valni is the most hilariously abusable wonder ever. I absolutely love it. Sword Alter is excellent. Prism shrine is usually built too late to matter, and Mainal Cathedral is meh. Over all, a great mod.
Bran 23 Nov, 2014 @ 8:24pm
@Kiang Ohhhh, I wasn't entirely sure what that meant, my apologies. My thanks for your help :)
Kiang  [author] 23 Nov, 2014 @ 6:39pm
@TheHolyCheezus/Gandhi: Yes! To re-enable the vanilla wonders, locate your "MODS" folder, navigate to the "Fire Emblem Wonders" folder, and delete the xml file aptly-named "DELETE THIS FILE TO GET NORMAL WONDERS BACK." =)
Bran 22 Nov, 2014 @ 7:01pm
Is there a way to get both of the respective wonders? I know you said you removed it for balance, but is there a way?
Green Raven 17 Nov, 2014 @ 6:42pm
Awesome! Now lets get in some early age air units...Pegusas Knights! Triangle formation!
Papa OurSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS 17 Nov, 2014 @ 7:26am
very nice work !
TheRealGaryGlacier 16 Nov, 2014 @ 7:36pm
Great idea, I love me some Fire Emblem
j.jamo5 16 Nov, 2014 @ 12:03pm
Very nice thanks
LordMcDude 16 Nov, 2014 @ 9:10am
@grendel90 It's not really overpowered because the 50 percent gold increase is just in the city where it was build. So it can be really good in a city with lots of gold income, but if you don't have that kinds of cities it's worthless.:tank:
grendel90 16 Nov, 2014 @ 3:39am
IMO, the Secret Shop is overpowered. 250 gold plus 50% increase in gold produced, I think 25% increase would be better.
Kiang  [author] 16 Nov, 2014 @ 1:16am
@Howl Alistair: Ha! You make a good point. Thank you. =)
Kiang  [author] 16 Nov, 2014 @ 1:16am
@The Riddler: Unfortunately, the whole "must-have-policy-to-build-wonder" system was only introduced in BNW, so I wouldn't be able to replicate it for Vanilla or G&K. =(
Daedalous Eros 16 Nov, 2014 @ 1:15am
@Kiang No problem. Just thought Id point it out kindly before some ass had to be rude.
Kiang  [author] 16 Nov, 2014 @ 1:08am
@Howl Alistair: Good catch! I do know that Drill is for rough and Shock is for open, yes, but thanks a bunch for catching that typo! I've fixed it now. =)
tawmias!! 15 Nov, 2014 @ 10:54pm
hell yeah!
Daedalous Eros 15 Nov, 2014 @ 8:44pm
Shrine of Seals
Cost: 1060
Unlocks at Flight
Requires Autocracy. All newly-trained non-air units in this city receive the Drill I promotion, improving combat strength when fighting in open terrain. Unhappiness in non-occupied cities reduced by 20%. Drill improves combat strength in rough terrain not open terrain. Just thought you might like to know this.
The Riddler 15 Nov, 2014 @ 6:59pm
make a god and king verson please.
Kiang  [author] 14 Nov, 2014 @ 12:41am
@Valta: Thank you! I'm glad you like it.
May I ask you what specific wonders you think are overpowered? I'd really like to try and work on balancing it out with community feedback rather than make a new release, I'm sorry but I hope you understand. But thank you for your comment! I read all of them. =)
Valta 13 Nov, 2014 @ 12:43pm
Very nice. I don't knwo how to feel about replacing some of the vanilla wonders, and some of those wonders seem a little bit overpowered... Maybe you could release a version in which the wonders replaced keep their old vanilla effects, but the game art and names are still the new Fire Emblem ones?
Ferdinand Von Aegir 12 Nov, 2014 @ 6:36pm
I can't wait to try this mod out. Of course now i need to replay Fire Emblem. Thank you so much for this!
VSpider 11 Nov, 2014 @ 11:03am
This is great! Thanks a ton for making this. All of your mods are great really, please make more!
PaperMarioFan 11 Nov, 2014 @ 10:48am
AWESOME IDEA I love these! Heh, tower of guidance requires order. That it does.
