Awesome mod. Theres a few around but seems like this one works well.

Are zombies hurt by broken glass windows they climb through? could be a cool idea!

Yep, I can make advanced sandbox options for each kind of obstacle.

I will get on with it closer to the weekend, thank you for all the ideas.

@Frank_Horrigan_44 I do not plan to make new tiles within this mod, but it can be a submod if I have time, sure.

@Deon Oh got it.
If you are able to make the damage of these sources independent from each other so we have both lethal and non lethal (with health threshold on) it would be perfect!

It doesnt "conflict" per se, but it modifies a similar function. So I think it will deal double damage.

But dont worry, as soon as Cheval de Frise is updated, I will include support for it the same day.

Does your mod conflict with Barricade Hurt Zombies?
I want to use that mod for the Modded defenses only part, so when he updates Cheval de frise, i have them taking care of the lethal damage and your mod taking care of the rest with non lethal damage.

Actually they updated it 5 days after I released this mod. I will add the original mod to the description as the one that inspired me for sure.

The literally updated the "Barricades Give Zomboids Boo Boos Mod" a few minutes after you!
I'm gonna try your mod because I like the concepts, you have beautiful eyes, and I'm pretty sure the more bites it takes you to eat a hotdog, the manlier you are; I know, I know, taking all those little baby bites seems like it would have the opposite effect, YET NAY! It actually parallels the homophobic implications presented with taking big bites, or dare I say *gulp* A-SINGLE-BITE...

I've gone too far for us to be mere strangers. Perhaps we can discuss more in my private Zomboid Consensual Physical Therapy, Crematorium, and Mannequin Museum. :jawagrin:

- Removed two "print" lines used for debugging that would unnecessarily contribute to the game log file.

Those were debug print stateents, I didn't consider that they still go to the log even though you don't use -debug.

Hi Deon. Thank you for creating this and for including the sandbox feature—it’s really helpful! :steamthis: I noticed something that might be unintentional (though I’m not entirely sure if I’m understanding this correctly). There are print statements on lines 108 and 125 that haven’t been commented out, and I’ve seen that my log file grows quite large very quickly, I think due to that.

If someone makes obstacle mods, I can easily add support to them. I do not plan to make new tiles myself yet, but maybe in the future.

Yeah, we have a different approach anyway. I am trying to differentiate the type of damage based on the object being bashed, while the Barricades Hurt Zombies is simpler and may be enough for most of players if they don't want the difference. So both mods achieve the same thing differently, to each his own :).

Added sandbox option for Bleeding (on by default).

If you want to change Sandbox settings in ongoing games, use "Sandbox Options" mod. You will want to save/load after changing the settings.

A big update is out.
- Support for all languages.
- All settings are exposed as Sandbox options:

- Global damage multiplier, 1x by default.
- Window damage multiplier, 0.2 by default (windows hurt zombies only at 1/5 of strength).
- Wooden barricade damage multiplier, 2x by default
- Metal barricade damage multiplier, 4x by default
- "Lethal outcome". If you disable it, zombies cannot die, they remain at "health threshold" percentage of health.
- "Health threshold". Only works if you disable "lethal outcome".

Hello, great idea to make a mod, but I have to say I'd prefer this variant better, too.
Bashing on the metal grate should probably make zed loose arms or something, maybe start chewing, but to be able to kill them would me destroy brain, in PZ canonically, no ?
I'd want to have some spiked barricades for that, first :) thanks, though!

Really love this idea! Not going to lie though, as is, it seems a little immersion breaking. Zombies going through windows or over fences could maybe break their neck or something, but just beating their hand against wood? Idk. Will be following to see future updates! Great work!

Can you make a sandbox option that maintains minimum health and attack power? I hope they will gradually lose health and attack power due to hitting hard objects.:steamthumbsup:

@zerovector The mod is pure coding, no changed game objects, so you can add and remove it from save any time.

Muy buen mod! Estaría bueno un mod que haga que las barricadas, ventanas y puertas no lo puedan romper los z, ya que poniendo la configuracion de sandbox no funciona para barricadas. Gracias amigo me gustan todos tus mods:spiffo:

Puedes ajustar el daño en la configuración de Sandbox.

Como escribí en la descripción, 1 zombi puede atravesar 1 tablón.
Si quieres que 4 zombis atraviesen 1 tablón, cambia el multiplicador de 1 a 4 en la configuración de Sandbox.

Pareces estar hablando sobre la dificultad para que los zombis destruyan barricadas. Esto se puede mejorar aumentando la configuración de salud de las construcciones del jugador. También existen mods que lo mejoran aún más.

Este mod simplemente permite que los zombis realmente reciban daño al golpear objetos.
