Hello, lovely mod, thank you for creating it. May I ask if it's possible to change the crafting requirement to Mining? I'd rather have my miners do the collecting (which seems to be affected by the Mining skill),yet if they don't have crafting activated, they won't be able to work on it, and my crafters level up mining, which seems odd. Keep up the good work!

Incredible Mod. Can you PLEASE change the item type to Stony so the stacksize can be properly modified? 36 Soil is not only an odd number but it is way too low. Either dramatically increase stack size or change the item type to stonetype so it can be modified by other stacksize mods.

Is rich soil supposed to be an available option? Because I'm only able to convert soil into packed dirt. On 1.6 unstable if that helps

You can cover up to lichen-covered soil with soil, but from marshy soil onward, a moisture pump is required.

trying to change marshy soil to soil doesnt work, i can only change it to other terrains that DONT support heavy? i must be doing something wrong right?

Only shallow water is possible. Ocean, moving, and deep water cannot be created.

I love that this mod actually changes the terrain instead of only making surface level cosmetic changes. And I appreciate you keeping it light-weight. Thank you very much! Just one question though:

What types of water tiles can you make with this mod? How deep can it be? What about flowing water? Could you move an entire river with enough effort?

you could also make it so you can gather water from Dub's Bad Hygiene by filling buckets at a well or sink. if you want.

It's probably some kind of mod conflict.. but my water collection point that I place in shallow water disappears after 5 seconds. No error is displayed in the dev log..

Would it be possible to have an option of turning Sand/Marsh into soil without a moisture pump?
It could be at an increased cost.

While its not really my place to judge, I'd have figured it made more since to start with stony soil/gravel and branch out from there, seeing as its generally worse for farming. Seems like laying down gravel and then either cleaning out the rocks or crushing them to sand makes more sense.

In any case great mod, love the simple gather spots and making it so you just shift terrain to the next in sequence.

그 이슈는 9일에 고쳤고, 지금 확인해봐도 문제가 없습니다. 모드를 완전히 삭제하고 다시 받아보세요. 업데이트 문제일 수 있습니다. 아니면 다른 모드가 범인일 수도 있습니다.

물 타일에 가치가 부여되는 것 같아요
강에서 시작하니까 건물가치가 90000이더라구요
강 없는데로 기지 옮겨보면 10000까지 떨어지고
이 모드를 빼보니까 해안가에서 시작했더니 건물가치가 2000이었어요

Cool :) That could be neat. Even with dev mode, adding "flowing water" tiles to rivers just breaks the animation, so it'd be cool to have a mod that handles that

You can build spots on flowing water.
The only water you can directly create is standing water.

Hello, sorry to bother. Don't know if anyone else have this problem, but even if I only have this mod loaded, I think all soils is counted in buildings wealth. So every new game, colony will have like a hundred thousand wealth at the start.

That's a very interesting idea. However, I prefer lightweight mods and tend to avoid altering the systems of vanilla.

Yes, this mod does not create 'other tiles with the same appearance'. There are no new tiles.

I have something to report to you.
Make_JGH_Water, Make_JGH_SoilWater, Make_JGH_Soil in Defs\RecipeDefs\Recipes_Production.xml, there are two "<workSpeedStat>" in them, which causes a red error when starting the game. Deleting one of them will resolve the error.

Most (if not, all) soil mods I find tend to just be "buildable floor that allows for growing crops", so if you place another floor or a wall, the soil you worked so hard will be gone

This mod actually converts the terrain! Thank you!

I just noticed the water buckets deteriorating faster in rain, and made me think... shouldn't it be getting restored by being rained in? Would be a fun interaction
