Valve have done it before with other submissions and skins. So I would give it a shot, you could always email them too.

I would totally love to update this skin with the newer Gunsmith finish (normal maps, full coverage) but I don't know if Valve would be up for updating skins that have already been accepted. I'll ask around.

i noticed you are coming back to this series and making new skins as well as retouching some of the older entires. can we expect to see an update to the awp?
