hmm… nice! there's a unique touch to it ... like a parallel-universe twist. Kojima would totally be into this. :))

@HonderCity2 yeah man, i know about it, thanks for the heads-up. If what you're talking about is the thing you need, then go ahead and use it. I remember mentioning that i might do external stuff once i'm done with my main concept ,, but i guess that's going to take a bit longer than i expected.

hi lag, is there a way you can replace the wallace breen hl2 playermodel with this?

@Cagster344 "After the 7-Hour War, Breen was 52." right? In this sentence, the word “after” doesn’t give us a precise time frame. That means (The day after the war is still after the war.) (20 years later is also after the war.) If we think logically ... if someone is said to be 52 during Half-Life 2, then how old would they have been 20 years earlier? Of course, until a clear age is officially stated, some things will remain uncertain,, but our guy here is progressing through a normal timeline without interruption. He witnesses the war, escapes, gets organized, becomes a leader, makes deals... In other words, unlike Gordon, there’s no time-jumping involved. These are processes that would logically take a long time in real time.

It's been a while since this mod was released, but according to one of the newspapers in Half Life: Alyx, Wallace Breen was 52 following the 7-hour war. This would mean that he was 52 at the time of Half Life 1 rather than being the age of 35.

Ah.. the person that started it all.

Have fun!🎉 Yea, I'm experimenting with some things, but my current concept is set 20 years before Half-Life 2

Oh yeah I just wanted to make him replace the original Breen like this https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3427196225 I never plan on using it for monetary gain. I hope you make more models btw these are pretty cool.
𝕁𝕚𝕟𝕩𝕃λ𝔾  [author] 14 Feb @ 7:44am
It depends on where you want to use it. You can use it as long as it's for personal use, for entertainment purposes, and doesn’t involve any monetary gain.

Can I use this for a Breen replacement? I will give you credit.

You should try verifying the integrity of the game files for Garry's Mod on Steam. If the issue occurs because you're trying to open the GMA file and attempt a different eye model, you need to rename the 'eyebal_l/r' VMT files to 'eyeballix.vtf'. It won't accept the standard name because I've compiled it differently.
Captain K 20 Jan @ 6:25pm
It’s still doing it without any other mods downloaded

The eye models (materials/models/breen_young_upd/eyeball_l.vmt and eyeball_r.vmt) appear to be correctly placed. This issue might be caused by a conflict with another newly installed eye model. You can try using the mat_reloadallmaterials command in the console to reload all materials and check if the issue is fixed. Additionally, you can try unsubscribing from the addon, deleting it, and then resubscribing to it, which may help resolve any conflicts or corrupted files.

How do i fix the pink eyes

"Breen was advising the citizens of City 17 to stop acting on instinct, but he himself, due to his circumstances, was being driven by the survival instinct to surrender. Although this is a logical conclusion, instinct—whether people admit it or not—somehow sneaks its way alongside reason. It's much like the desire to resist surrendering. If there had been even a fifty-fifty chance of choice, I’m sure he would have preferred not to surrender. The desire to continue existing with those who remain, rather than disappearing, is both philosophical and holds two distinct perspectives. I have a great deal of respect for both of these differing views."
Captain K 10 Jan @ 1:04pm
Breen was right to surrender

Thank you so much bro!:laughing_yeti: I compiled these models for my own projects with the help of Blender and Photoshop. My goal was to make them realistic and reflect the situation in the story. More similar content will be coming soon...
DM 6 Jan @ 7:42pm
Yooo....your NPC uploads have been absolute bangers bro
