Maybe the mod could be changed up to constant increase to garrison experience over time, instead of rank up over time, which would meant that units start off gaining ranks quickly but will gain ranks slower as they get to higher ranks.

@Nutwit I'm not sure if I understand right but from what I hear I can tell you this: my mod adds a rank, not experience. so if you change anything with experience it wouldn't have any effect on this mod. at first I tried to make this mod with exp gaining but i struggled with this idea, so I went with ranking units up.

Hi, this is a great idea. I have a question though, I've changed the experience thresholds for gaining ranks because I have another mod that makes veterans more powerful. Will "add_experience_to_unit" be affected by changes in the thresholds?

Yes, thank you very much, it can't be because of this mod. The difficulty of the fights is not that high, that's true, but since I defeated the vampires (that was the point) and now fight against Nurgle, it looks different again ^^.

@Horny Jail idk, I don't play Old World.

@PhazezGova if the AI can't take cities, it's about CP, not because of some rank+ units. if you don't have any other mod that makes garrisons better or adds units, this is fine (even less "OP" than my rank 9 version which I personally prefer, because of boring end game steam rolling). if you are talking about a capital city that someone has from beginning, well yes, it is max ranked maybe and it makes sense. maybe adjust the difficulty so the AI doesn't make senseless attacks.

I'm not quite sure what the problem is, but is the mod partially op? There are two cities that the AI can't take, especially the very first cities that have been held longer.

@Echo yes they can. rank 6 max only applies for ranking up via this script. your garrison units will also gain exp through battles. you can use my rank 9 max mod if you want to get them to rank 9 "faster".
