@Nic
That's clean, I didn't actually know the pirate hole could be completed this way by lowing the framerate

Been grinding this map for a few days and I believe this is the lowest score possible: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1aPWRUQm7WQ

This is planned too, it's just going to take time

can you also do the Deluxe nine from the game if possible?

Thanks for the kind messages, I hope you'll all be ready for the Back Nine when it'll be finished

This really reminds me of the old 90's point and click adventure games that Ross Scott of Ross's Game Dungeon has played. All of the courses make me feel like its a mix between Zany Golf, Rama, and especially Armed & Delirious. Keep up the great work! :skheart:

3D Ultra Minigolf was one of my favorite PC games growing up alongside Frogger, and I really appreciate the work you put into this! Thank you for giving some love to such a fond memory.

This is really awesome!!! I love how you used forced perspective to imitate the game's prerendered scenes. Definetly up there for one of the most creative workshop maps i've seen :resmile:

@Nic Thank you XP tho this map is not currently in its best shape

There was a mover fix that was dropped but reverted because it caused a problem with grouped items, also, some workshop items got dmca'ed out of the workshop and I had to replace them,
I'll update it once the mover fix comes again, Also currently working on the next 9 holes

I can't wait for movers to get fixed!

Easily top 10 and the movers aren't even fixed yet :lilpup:

For the sound, I recommand to not ready up until everything is properly loaded, the pre-game waitscreen also has its own music, and alright I'll check that blind spot

Maybe the sounds were just bugged... some of the early holes didn't play audio for me. For the 1st hole, I hit and missed and bounced back half-way between the starting position and the windmill

@BB
-yes the tentacle is meant to be avoided, and to move horizontally, so you get a short window to putt in a straight line, hopefully that mover issue gets fixed soon enough
-thanks :smile: this and the rocket are my favs aesthetic wise
-Yeah, afixed cameras gives an extra challenge, but that's how the original game was back in 1997 where it was all pre-rendered 3D scenes, most holes has different paths and secret interactions, so it was made with replayability in mind, also, a free cam would actually make these holes brain-dead easy
-And yes, doing my best to stick as much to the original experience as possible down to the same camera angles, 3DUMD has a whooping total of 27 holes, so the plan here is to have 3 separate 9 hole courses respectively called Front Nine, Back Nine, and Deluxe Nine

@BB thank you very much XP

-already on it, just to make sure though, do you have the custom music? every hole has its own music but I do intend to polish the sound design
-How did you end up getting out of view? I made sure most of the area is covered in trigger volumes, not sure which spot got angle issues

This is hands down the coolest map created so far... Couple thoughts:

-I would love if every single hole had some fitting ambient sounds
-On hole 1 my first hit got out of view of the camera, making the next hit blind
-On hole 4 I tried hitting off of the octopus arm thinking it would bump me up like a ramp, not knowing that it would send me back to the beginning maybe when it moves as intended it will be more obvious that you're supposed to avoid it? Not sure.
-Hole 9 is stunning
-The aesthetic is so good, I love the challenge of each shot being from a stationary frame. The only downside is sometimes it's hard to see where you're going/what's beyond the frame on a first playthrough
-I never played 3D Ultra Minigolf Deluxe, I'm assuming this is exactly how the game functions/an exact replica of levels... It would be cool if in the future when more SDK bugs are fixed that you could expand this to 18 holes?
