Thanks for the mod, please make it so we can build barricades from context menu again, these changes suck.

You are a hero.

@SaltyCrab I agree with you, but for the time being they're still working things out with B42. I hope TIS will implement mods like this one into B42.
Karkino 7 Apr @ 8:28pm
i just dont get it. why the devs are trying that hard to make the game have less QoL ?! and less fun. not even the "realism" just breaking things for the sake of additions
Dr. Quackers M.D. 6 Apr @ 7:03pm
This was a terrible game change! Thank you for the revision!!!
Naugrim 5 Apr @ 8:24am
Спасибо большое тебе, добрый человек. Будем надеяться, что всё стабилизируется.

Hello Everyone !

Unfortunally, i don't have the time to keep up with the mod breaking updates of the game anymore, as this requires me to go through every changelog for all of my mods, modify all my mods... and i don't have the time to do this or to also test the mods throughly

I may go back on this when the updates gets more stable and when i have more time to update this to be more stable too, i don't like pushing fast updates, not knowing if it works fully or not

I flagged this mod to only be enabled on the last supported game version i did of it, which is the 42.4.1 as stated in the title.

Sorry for the inconvinience ! And thanks for all the support :)

im not going to download this mod, but the thumbnail is so dang funny!

This mod is a godsend for steam deck users where the build and craft menus are bigger then the screen. Thank you so much
[E] Velkiel  [author] 28 Jan @ 4:29pm
I pushed an update to make this mod more compatible with other mods. Thanks to @WhiffMaster :)
oanthero 28 Jan @ 3:51pm
thx @Velkiel
[E] Velkiel  [author] 28 Jan @ 7:42am
You're all very welcome. :)
Jotta Frost 28 Jan @ 7:08am
Thanks for this mod and to quickly fix is after the last release. This mod is making the game very playable for me since i need to play with a controller.
Space.Dog 27 Jan @ 11:45pm
Thanks for the quick update :winter2019happydog:
Sleepy Rachel 27 Jan @ 7:52pm
I was concerned for a moment as it was still broken for me but it seems steam didn't push the mod update, so a quick resubscribe and everything is all working again! Cheers for the quick fix, Velkiel!
Vico 27 Jan @ 7:28pm
I didnt even realized there was a new version of PZ sorry about that
[E] Velkiel  [author] 27 Jan @ 5:51pm
@Vico & @Sleepy Rachel : I just took a quick look and it should be fixed now :) The new version indeed broke the mod
Sleepy Rachel 27 Jan @ 5:23pm
Yeah looks like the new unstable might have changed something, getting the same error as @Vico and the recipe context isn't working at the moment
Vico 27 Jan @ 4:08pm
Got this weird error in my console.txt everytime i right-clicked on a garbage bag:

@Eizen: This has nothing to do with my mod. However, i've got another mod that most likely fixes it : https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3400515378

@Doctor Sex: :)

@Lemmings: Thanks, you're sweet !
Eizen 16 Jan @ 2:20am
tried to create a pasta using macaroni and sauce pan but it creates a new saucepan with pasta while my current sauce pan is still there full of water
Doctor Sex 15 Jan @ 8:29am
its so relatable
Lemmings 15 Jan @ 6:47am
Awesome mod. Thanks a lot for making the UX better for us. Hugely prefer your approach to the currently complicated way of crafting.
[E] Velkiel  [author] 15 Jan @ 6:16am
@nnve: It's because there's a lot of new things in their context menu now, and I didn't want to make it any longer. A submenu felt more appropriate :)

@DJ WEEABOO: You're very much welcome :) I believe it's hard to keep a clear head about what they're doing when they've been into this for so long. I can't get past their new "fluid transfer" windows for instance, it makes no sense for me. I might just mod this one too in the future
nnve 14 Jan @ 6:19pm
Great work! Thank you for making this - i really missed having the recipes in context menu and not needing to go into crafting menu. Its a bit different than in b41, but your idea to display it as "recipes available" section works good too.
DJ WEEABOO 14 Jan @ 5:49pm
god bless was looking for a mod like this. really so confused at indie stone and how they manage to make their ui so clunky and obscure with each progressive build. very questionable design choices during their development.
homeworld 14 Jan @ 9:34am
Yes, we were able to reproduce it and it was pure coincidence that I had the context menu error with the held animal at the same time. The vanilla error was due to antibiotics. Thank you @[E] Velkiel for taking the time to figure it out!
[E] Velkiel  [author] 14 Jan @ 9:18am
After further investigation with @homeworld, we came to the conclusion that it was a vanilla issue :)
homeworld 14 Jan @ 8:44am
@[E] Velkiel You know what, I feel foolish. It is NOT your mod that is causing the issue.

I tested it in all combinations and load orders and was absolutely not able to reproduce it. I'm thinking it is some random interaction with another mod or the game itself which happened to be a pure coincidence that it occurred the same time as I activated your context menu fix.

I sincerely apologize for wasting your time trying to diagnose an issue that had nothing to do with your work. I will also do my due diligence the next time I have an error appear.

Thank you again for being responsive and helpful!
[E] Velkiel  [author] 14 Jan @ 7:18am
@homeworld: i can't seem to reproduce the issue, i've sent you a friend invite to talk about itmore, if that's okay
[E] Velkiel  [author] 14 Jan @ 7:01am
i'm looking into it, thanks bud
homeworld 13 Jan @ 7:36am
@ [E] Velkiel Alright, so it looks like the animal error is corrected but the cabinet one remains. Here is the log entry: https://limewire.com/d/19bee0a0-640d-42cf-a863-8efe14eb7bf8#G0xi1yYkdG7yc3jReL9iMYELBmqD3aK66FaZpmax7VM
[E] Velkiel  [author] 13 Jan @ 3:38am
@homeworld : i've pushed a fix, let me know if you still encounter any issue :)
[E] Velkiel  [author] 13 Jan @ 3:15am
@homeworld thanks for letting me know. I'll check into it. If you have examples of the items i would appreciate it !

@retr0l0gy it mostly has to do with how the crafting systems works, but i'll see what I can do!
homeworld 12 Jan @ 9:04am
The error is also thrown when right clicking items stored in certain bathroom cupboards. If you'd like the full log just let me know. :spiffo:
retr0l0gy 12 Jan @ 8:09am
yo can you make it so it uses the closest object to you to craft? cause for an example im tryna cut up some fish, i got a filet knife in my inventory but when i use this mod to cut it, it uses the kitchen knife across the kitchen. its kind of annoying. any fix possibly?
homeworld 12 Jan @ 7:33am
I found an error that is thrown when right clicking on a held animal.

ERROR: General f:7500, t:1736695668010> ExceptionLogger.logException> Exception thrown

fixed today
[E] Velkiel  [author] 11 Jan @ 3:07am
new issue has been discovered, thanks to @karimoff, You can see the recipes you haven't learned yet, in the menu. I'll work on it ASAP :) let me know your thoughts about it in the discussion
[E] Velkiel  [author] 10 Jan @ 2:29pm
@WoodyDaOcas: I believe the crafting menu is useful to learn and understand the components if needed, but to perform actual crafts when you already know the recipes and all... it's painful, especially for long time players that see their gameplay getting less pratical. That's why I loved it previously and wanted to reimplement such code in this release
WoodyDaOcas 10 Jan @ 11:40am
thanks, epic.. I hate scrolling throught the menu, cause it's horrendous :) context is the way
karimoff 10 Jan @ 10:53am
I got it, I think so, I opened the vanilla menu.
[E] Velkiel  [author] 10 Jan @ 10:01am
@karimoff : It's a vanilla issue, my mod doesn't highlight the surface you're close / working on.

You probably opened the crafting menu, walked away, and closed it after. that's how the green highlight usually stays. Unfortunally, nothing I can do about it in this mod, since it's not the source of the problem :/
karimoff 10 Jan @ 9:00am
I found a small bug - the table on which I tested crafting through the context menu still had a green frame, even after leaving it.
karimoff 10 Jan @ 8:56am
Great, bro!
[E] Velkiel  [author] 10 Jan @ 3:46am
Thanks guys :)
Markovicz 10 Jan @ 1:25am
