Thanks, Phoenix! That's great to hear! The calculation for the average time to grow doesn't stem from me though! It's already in vanilla, I just used it for the tooltip as well. Credit goes to the TIS devs! :D

Thanks for this mod. It's such a time saver. I like that it also displays the number of days it takes to grow taking into account the "Farming speed" set in the sandbox settings

It would be helpful to has translation keys for labels and values in this mod's tooltips.

@Kira
Yes! The mod can be enabled/disabled at any time.

does it work on saved games?

@ThisIsName
and that's how you introduce bugs! numeric months don't account for the adjusted indexing when the mod FarmingFix is active. will be fixed shortly.

Thanks! A quick one lol

Updated the mod to include this option in the mod options! Thanks for the suggestion!

Hi! Got a suggestion: add an option to display months as numbers. Accesibility/overall easier to compare a lot of different seeds at once.
MrPanda 15 Jan @ 1:57pm
thanks for the tip :) and thanks for your work to make zomboid better :)

@MrPanda
No, the cursed plants issue hasn't been fixed officially yet, and my mod doesn't fix it either. The mod "Farming Fix" linked under "Recommended Mods" fixes it though.
MrPanda 15 Jan @ 3:09am
seasons got fixed ? i had to disable it because the code was faulty in PZ and returned all the time "false" as value, all plants were dying even if planted at the good season. did i miss a fix ? does your mod fix it ?

I didn't choose farmer and didn't know any recipes. I just re-subscribed and reloaded the mod and now it works as intended! Who knows what the problem was before! Thanks for you work!

@Katinka1988
The mod works as intended for me. No sowing info in tooltips until I either read the Season Recipe or reach the configured Farming level.
Can you double check in the "Agriculture" tab under "Discovered Recipes and Media" that you really don't know the recipes? If you see the recipes there, you somehow got the knowledge already. Did you choose "Farmer" as your occupation by any chance? Farmers know all Season Recipes except Hemp by default.
If there are no recipes listed in the "Agriculture" tab, can you please open a thread in Discussions and post your mod list?

Unfortunately, it immediately shows the appropriate season for each seed, regardless of whether I already know this ingame. As soon as I find something that can be planted, it shows me the appropriate months, even with lvl 0 farming and without the relevant knowledge. It would be nice if you could only see it for seeds for which you already have the appropriate knowledge as a character.

@Yu-Kwokie
Yep, there actually even is a farming perk requirement in the game code that's used by the sowing context menu tooltip and the "Agriculture" tab in the "Known Media" panel. A Farming level of 6 or higher unlocks the info even when you don't know the season recipe. I should use this for the seed item tooltip as well to be consistent.
I'll also add a mod option to the settings menu to allow adjusting this requirement, as I think 6 is quite high.
Thanks for the suggestion!
Snuppy 13 Jan @ 3:49am
y'know i think it'll be cool if this gets unlocked when you reached certain level in farming

The mod works on existing saves and for seeds you've already found.

Do you play with Custom Sandbox Settings and have "Seasons" enabled?
Do you know the "Season Recipe" specific for the seed? You get these Season Recipes by reading certain magazines and/or reading the seed packet.
These are the 2 requirements for the tooltip to show up.

Is your game language English? If not, seeds should still work, but Seed Packets likely don't.
Neyr129 10 Jan @ 7:56am
Is it only working for newly found seeds or does it not work an existing save? Can't figure out why I don't see the tooltip :c
