Hi, can this mod be repaired by loading it directly, or does it need to be placed in the mod folder in the game directory?

@Rachel: These changes can easily be identifed and removed in FCS. You need to copy this mod and the radiant faces mod from workshop to the Kenshi's mod folder though.

Bro! Thank you so much for this mod! I loved using radiant better faces, but did not like race changes to sadneil in particular. So thank you a 1000 times for this!

I have a question, @crunk aint dead . UWE uses some of Face+ mods and etc.. So, I use UWE then I use RBFE, if I subscribe to Fixed RBFE, does it erases some of the UWE content or does it just make changes to RBFE content?

Finally someone took down Kiana! haha Luckily, taking out these new races added by RBFE is quite good, because I use other mods like UWE in my playthroughs. =)

There's no issues with importing often, I actually somewhat recommend it for heavily modded playthroughs. Shidan's Guide also somewhat recommends it. It can help reduce overall zone corruption as well, which is what leads to most issues in Kenshi lol

As I've increasingly begun opening the hood of FCS and using it lightly, I've discovered so much extra "stuff" added by mods that say they'll only do X. And now creating patches to remove that extra stuff so another mod can do what it actually intended to do.

Wheesh.

Probably, I think it mostly stems from people not wanting to make multiple different mods for whichever reason haha

I suppose it makes sense if it's your first mod or something, but it's ideally better to just split everything so it's easier to patch in the future, etc.

I feel like maybe an updated modding guide might help promote better mod cleanliness in the future, it is sad how many old mods have awesome content but tons of useless stuff in the mix.

I don't really feel like reverse engineering 100s of mods to ensure each one individually does exactly what it says on the tin, and it's a problem that occurs with literally every game ever lol

crunk, ignore the losers getting pissy over their mods. they're mods, free to make a game a little more fun.... the fact they get whiney over you tweaking it to your preferences, then releasing that for others to also use, is cringe, pathetic, and downright dumbassery at the highest level.

i mean, the amount of mods ive downloaded and then personally tweaked to get how i want them, is insane. even today i was tweaking up an AI economy mod i downloaded for X4-foundations.

if i added that to the workshop so others could benefit, i bet id get some shit too lol.

people = shit, sadly.

@Fane I wasn't making mods at this time so I have never seen it but that is what I have been told.

I have noticed many authors who make custom textures and models are particularly sensitive about their work and are not open to criticism. I think its because they are artists who don't want to compromise their "vision". Even if its not true to shiroho's vision many like myself would have never used radiant faces because of the non immersive content it adds, so patches like this do help the original author.

(side note is I have learned of SO MUCH drama in this modding community since my mods got popular. I just wanna smoke hashish and chill yall)

Does this mod make Agnu, Burn and Sadneil's use vanilla textures instead of the RBF&E ones? I imported midsave and it seems to revert Sadneil's race and textures at the same time.

@Gevurah - For Ray in particular, this is difficult to do, but you can use another Hive Soldier for it.

You need to use a plastic surgeon or Recruit All Mod (you could put Ray into prison and use this on him)

Export his unique file that you want to preserve. Arms folded and all.

In his FCS, you upload that as his appearance and it'll come out that way. If you inspect the changes on a mod like "Unique Bugmaster." you'll see how, though the Radiant mod also features this.

@TheATP that is how I would expect it to function, it won't reset races for characters you already recruited, I am not sure if there is any way to reset him to vanilla without killing him > Importing game without dead npcs > recruit him again.

It seems fine I think? Burn still has his custom look (which Im not sure if it is due to him keeping his custom race or if you just did something to make him look different without changing the race), and sadneil is back to his original model (I did not have sadneil recruited before adding this mod). Not sure how I would test the Izumi dialogue package thing though.

if I am not mistaken, then it should be in the character profile folder for the "Ray's.bod2"
(Not sure whom Ray is tho.. )

Example: idle stance idle_stand_relax   race 

Nice work btw, I did a similar thing long ago..as I just wanted the faces.
-But managed to deleted most of my local Kenshi mods -.- (thougth I backed them up)

I tried narrowing down how to change someone's pose in the FCS but came up dry. Would you be able to revert Ray's pose back to his classic "folded arms position"?
