Not sure how it happened but I was smoking a bong, the bong disappeared from my inventory and now every couple minutes my character keeps smoking the bong with no way to stop it. I'm assuming it has something to do with true smoking as I have it enabled. No errors.

@Neely. Just found out that i`ve been adding new mods to a game, not a save file. Should be working fine now, will check this out later. Thank you for this amazing mod!

@bknchz. Ty for subscribing! So on a mid save if can be little iffy. It depends on how close you were to those "new" areas when you added this mod. If you are a 4+ squares a away you should be fine. But if not, you may not see the drugs.

Hello! I added this mod midsave, visited some new cities that i never been to before and didn't find any mod-related items from new zombies and containers. How does this work? Where should i search or should i start a new save? I`ve seen that mod descriptions says that items spawn from new zombies and containers and i`m a little bit confused. Thank you!:tomate:

@Redtaill. I'll have to see about adding some sandbox options for that. They used to be way more intense. But I've knocked them down a good bit at least twice due too complaints it was too intense.

Just wanted to report back with an update: The errors were not from your mod, they were on my end, amazing mod, essential part of my playthroughs lmfao, gotta enjoy yourself at the end of the world. Can't wait for visual effects too!!

@Ezeepeezee. So the way the effects of the drugs work, when you take them, the effects are applied every second. I think the game applies pain basically every split second. So this might be how it has to happen. I can do a little testing to see if there is a way around the agony level moodle not popping up while on oxy.

I don't know if this is intended or not, but there seems to be some kind of inconsistency with the painkilling effect of Oxycodone (and maybe other opiates but this is the only one I've tried). I started my game with a broken arm and took some, and the pain moodle keeps going away and then reappearing at Agony level, every 2 seconds or so.

After taking opioids consecutively and sleeping, a crash occurs with an unfamiliar mood icon. reset and continuing the game is useless. The crash keeps repeating.

Nevermind I got it. It took a few times of closing and reopening the game to get it to work, but it did in fact work. Time to kill zombies and OD.

I can't enable it for my game as it has a red X. It says dependencies /Moodleframework which I tried getting as well with no affect. Any idea as to what I can do?

To add to coops comment, Make it a pop up as in an Accesability feature because motion sickness is a real thing.

I saw you talking about many people wanting lesser screen effects for many of the drugs. If you could add some kind of config where it could either be more intense or less that would be awesome. Not sure if that's even possible haven't modded before. I'm on the side of wanting more intense, but would understand not wanting that all up in your face while trying to kill zombies.

i never really did a mod for zomboid but i have video/photo editing skills. Im not sure how screen effects work for zomboid, but i have some ideas on how to possibly implement.

In vanilla when you're drunk, i think they programmed a swerving overlay effect on the screen, and I personally find that trippy.

Maybe for the weed in this game, you could incorporate a motion blur / trails effect in the screen, so the screen would have trails when you move, also halation effects.

For LSD, you could enable a screen overlay that has that kaleidoscope effect from video editors, so there's the base layer-the normal screen, then the second layer, the kaleidoscope effect, morphing the screen.

Basically, my ideas for this mod would be overlaying vfx and color settings. Maybe my ideas are a stretch and zomboid modding is completely unfeasible, but I wish this mod could allow us to have a trip simulator typa thing within this game lol

@theviolentsleeper. I actually don't have any screen effects for being drunk. I could definitely add them though! I only have them for the drugs I added. Also, the screen effects are subtle. They just change the color of the screen slightly basically. They were stronger before, but the feedback I received was that the screen effects were too strong.

I went in to this mod interested with the screen effects mechanics, when I tried b42 and saw the screen effects for booze, I got interested on mods that utilize other effects. but when I used drugs in debug mode there weren't any.

I absolutely love this mod, best alternative pharmaceutical mod out there, but I keep getting tons of errors from this mod recently, is anyone having a similar issue or is my game just collapsing under the weight of all the mods I have on? Hey, on my suggestion to use this, a guy on YT was playing around with drugs and booze and had a crash. Crashed a second time as he loaded in, and only did on their 3rd try, when they did load in, the game was mostly right, but somehow the game time shifted by 5 months to jan, Also was using Day One, and now none of the NPC bandits are spawning in.

All this after basically blacking out or ODing.

Anyone else ever have weird time displacement events? I thought maybe they had been meant to die from ODing, but the game bugged instead.

yo "overdosing" when off 2 blunts, a line of coke and 3 shots of whiskey is absolute horse shit, especially if my guy is railing the supposed same size lines every time at displaced but regular intervals his tolerance should be more than built to withstand such a concoction in his body, along with the fact that his traits stack him up to be "that guy" it just doesn't make sense that he's dropping dead like lil peep after a single binger when ive personally known people that survived multi day bingers of the same sort in real life

But for in game, it's best to find the Crystal Meth kit. It requires LOTS of ingredients. Then you heat up the pyrex dish of uncooked meth.

Is there a file somewhere that we can edit to reduce the amount of drugs that spawn? I have it at the posted minimum and there are so many drugs, I'm pretty sure Kentucky was making it ALL.

@Neely, Hello, I think I may have found a small bug. Nothing huge, although it took me about an hour to figure it out thinking it was a mod conflict... If you "Favorite" items such as the "Crack Pipe" or "Mirror" in your inventory, the game no longer recognises them as crafting ingredients and you cant pack the pipe or put the lines on mirror. If you "unfavorite" the item then you can interact with right click craft or menu craft.
