[B42] Craft Concrete
29 Comments
Love the mods but why not just merge these mods together? I mean they all require each other so why not just integrate them together for ease of use?

To make concrete, you need sand as well.

Thank you guys a lot for the comments.
I will update all my mods as soon as there will be a stable version.

@Euzio The other two crafting mods (clay and plaster) both are still working fine so its just this one.

CTD after loading save on latest version 42.7 Which is oddd because I am positive I was playing just fine with it enabled earlier today but now all the sudden it throws a crafting script error. Tried running game with -debug enabled to further diagnose the issue and It instant CTD when debug tag is added. Fixed once disabling this mod. For now I will just remove the mod and fav until updated.

@Jiras
Ah, so its not just me and it was this mod specifically then? It was working fine for me prior even after the update but last night, I started getting the same crashes. It only stopped crashing when I disabled the 3 craft mods this is associated with that the game could load. If its the concrete mod specifically that's the issue I'll try re-enabling the clay one since that is more of a priority for me.

This mod started crashing my game during loading new or saved game, it write :
An unexpected error occurred, Push Escape. And more informations in console.txt.

@Uke
Thank you for the suggestion, I added the missing items 😇👌
Uke 19 Jan @ 6:09am
sorry to bother again,but the new unglazed mortar is not the right one.
I didn't realize there are more than 3 mortars in the game until you updated.
1. clay mortar(unfired)-----icon is brown
2. clay mortar(fired in the furnace)-----icon is brown
3. glazed mortar(unfired)-----icon is white
4. glazed mortar(fired in the furnace)-----icon is white
no.4 is the default one you put in recipe,and no.2 is what i wanted
its not a urgent problem so please take your time.
thx for the mod and update again:47_thumb_up:

Hi, I added this but the ExtraCraft tab is missing, is this just user error?
ProduktFrosch  [author] 18 Jan @ 11:39am

@Uke
I added the unglazed mortart into the recipe 😇
Skard4Lyfe 18 Jan @ 8:11am
In the days before refrigeration quicklime was used to preserve eggs when mixed with water becoming instead calcium hydroxide.
Uke 18 Jan @ 7:07am
could you please add the unglazed mortar(brown color) into the recipe?
glaze tool is even more rare than Concrete:lunar2019crylaughingpig:
ProduktFrosch  [author] 18 Jan @ 2:04am
Thank you for the input. I Ajusted the recipes slightly (added a bag of gravel to the recipe and also reduced the output).
Also I found, that there is no way to create Quicklime until now.
MachoAlfalfa 18 Jan @ 12:10am
You could change the recipe. Concrete is actually made with cement and gravel. Cement is a mixture of clay and limestone that is calcined in a kiln. Currently we have all those elements in the game so you could adjust the recipe for it, it would be more realistic and the developers could perhaps include your mod to the vanilla game.

Either way I see your mod as much needed. Good work.
ProduktFrosch  [author] 17 Jan @ 7:38am
Yes it is indeed😇
Jadudes 17 Jan @ 7:18am
Is this mod safe to add to an existing save?
ProduktFrosch  [author] 15 Jan @ 5:30am
Thank you a lot!
I have absolutely no Idea, if this is possible, I know there are gravel floors.. but there is already a recipe for making a bucket of gravel... whith wich you can make floors I guess... Since I rarely play the game I have no idea if there are concrete floors..
Let me check it these days.. maybe I find a solution for lettiing you create concrete floors... first of all I will update my other mods, there are patches and new features I need to implement, but I wont forget your request 😇
Cookies 14 Jan @ 10:38pm
Nice mod, since cement bags are quite rare. Can you make concrete floors?
slimeform 12 Jan @ 5:09am
yay limestone. ty ty

Limestone Patch is out: Added Limestone to the recipe for crafting concrete.
quilates_24 11 Jan @ 1:28pm
It makes sense that you can make cement but I agree with the other comment, the recipe is very easy and cement is an important material for strong structure. Add something else to the recipe to balance it or it may need to be made in the furnace.
CPTWoodhouse 11 Jan @ 10:13am
It may make a little more sense to add one limestone to the recipe. Two stones to make concrete is way to easy.
