Can you make a button to place the weapon in front of the sprite or behind the character? I want to put 2 pistols on the waist, one would be in front.
You can do for example: Weapons on the waist, grenade belt, healing kits on the body

I attempted to fix a critical error related to the GIC mod, but since I don’t use the GIC mod myself, I’m not sure if it works perfectly yet 😂

It works perfectly with FU. I use FU and over 200 mods and I am not getting this error.

GiC gun broke my character with this mod, it functions without this mod again, but can not choose the char with this mod enabled.

Any way to fix this?

ive noticed a really bad bug. when putting some Glaxy in conflict weapons in the slot (some not all) it can immediately crash the game and in some instances make the character unusable, crashing apon being selected. I have sent a similar message in the GiC bug report section of the mod page. dont know if you can do anything about this. if you cant I would put a warning about putting GiC weapons in the slot for this mod.

found the problem,

problem is noclip, when entering the noclip stage they disappear and after exiting it they are still gone

doesnt work randomly decides to delete back weapon and doesnt show the weapons when adding them, it worked for 2 mins one time then i went back to building for a few mins and noticed it was gone, after that nothing put in the slot was being shown

Mod can not load some weapon's image if there's something like '?<comboDirectives>' or '?<skinColor>' in the partStates of weapon's animation file.

I wonder if it's possible to make it so I could replace a registered weapon with another one, while still keeping that registered weapon's settings? I really like to equip the current gear I'm using on my back, so switching em means I'd have to go through the entire process each time.

it's even strange because the weapons from the add-ons for the GIC mod are compatible, but not with the GIC

Incompatible with weapons from the GIC mod. When trying to install weapons from the GIC mod, it causes the game to crash. In addition, you may lose a character (I've already lost three test characters)

uuuhhh i put a gun from mp guns on my back and my main crashes on joining can you make a remove incompatible weapons option in the config (P.S PLEASE FIX THIS)

About bobbing the weapons up and down, maybe it doesn't need to be synchronized with the player's body state. In fact if the weapons bob up and down randomly it may even seem more realistic, but I don't know; it'd have to be tested. The bobbing could be activated whenever the player reaches a certain speed or presses one of the movement keys, and if there is vertical speed it could be a different animation.

What I'm saying is that it doesn't have to be frame by frame synchronized, sometimes the character could be going up and the weapons would also go up and sometimes the player could be going up and the weapons would be going down; it'd be random but it could be better than having the weapons just float.

Hello, thank you for reading my comments and fixing the bug I mentioned, you are a good author and I appreciate it a lot. I remember this bug happened with Back Weapon 1.0 too and I discovered it when I was doing a FU mission about some avian temple on which you had to press a big pressure plate and I couldn't get past a door because of it.

StarExtensions and OpenStarbound add the feature of head movement. I use StarExtensions.

Do you play only with FU? Because I use it and it works for me. I took a look at its files and didn’t see anything that could cause a conflict with FU.
i played with FU and it seems that mod dont work with it

Thanks for the info... I managed to get StarExtentions a short while ago, but I'll definitely check out xStarbound as well.

1) As I've mentioned a few times before, there is currently no way to determine the player's bodyState. I tried using a timer-based approach, but it was discarded as it is affected by FPS. :steamsad:

2) I just fixed this and updated it. Thank you :steamhappy:

There are a few issues with this mod as well as with the original one:

1) The weapons don't move up and down when the player character walks or runs, it's as if they're floating instead of being attached to the character.

2) Pressure plates, scanners, and other blocks that detect entities when they're on top of them seem to activate from really far away with this mod.

The previous version works, but the weapons do not disappear when using the morph ball :'( For now, I'm considering taking temporary measures to update.
