Version 1.4 has been released, check out the Changelog discussion post.
This adds a paste button and fixes the original Tools menu options.

So, can anyone else confirm if Show Hidden Controls doesn't work when this script is running? I tested and it doesn't work for me when this script is running.

you should add a paste button, trying to paste something is super annoying when the menu is full of stuff and youre required to right click on an empty space

They are shortcuts to the same options available in the + (Add) menu so you don't need to open that menu each time.
It's for productivity as you can create animation sets faster, for example: click the camera or light button and immediately drag it to the viewport.
It saves you a click.
I dont get it. what do those buttons do?
