@Vaeki Ah, that'd be greatly appreciated! I go by the same username on Discord if/when you have the time. I believe we need the previous versions for both Worthy Sisters and Worthy Orks.

BriggsPeasant- First of all, sorry about that! :steamsad: These mods have been a struggle to maintain, definitely causes interruptions for players in a game which takes substantial time to complete a match- these aren't 20 minute games, a match can take hours so I know how frustrating it can be when I make a change.

It would be nice if either Steam or Proxy somehow supported version control from the Workshop mods. :steamsalty:

If you have Discord, I can send you the previous versions of whichever Worthy you're using. Then, you place those versions in your local mod folder, disable the workshop mods via Steam, and resume your match. Best I can do. :steamfacepalm:

It isn't that I don't appreciate you updating and supporting these mods, it's just a bit frustrating that they seem to get updated every time my buddies and I have a campaign underway, lol. :steamsad:

JULY NOTE
A July 2nd update turned out not to be backwards compatible. If you have post-July 2nd save with the Sisters and want to finish the match, let me know and I will revert the save. This offer is only good until July 13th, at which point I am moving all the Worthy mods forward.
I apologize for the inconvenience, that's on me!

Minor update to Canoness ability selection coming this Saturday (5/24). Not likely to be notable, but is a small improvement to the Ai's choice.

This update should not cause crashes even with old save games.

Blazeymix- thanks for trying my mod! Enjoy!! :steamhappy:

Ooohh making the AI hard? Count me in!

Viral Divinity - makes my day to hear it! :steamhappy:

This mod series makes singleplayer fun!
Vaeki  [author] 24 Mar @ 7:07pm
I am still cranking! Makes my day to hear you've enjoyed them! :steamhappy:
Lucifaron 20 Mar @ 10:19am
@Vaeki

We did a lot of games vs the new AI. We won one of 4 vs Eldar/Tyranids.
Are you still working on more mods? Would love to see the orther factions with the same mods. Space marines would be nice :)
Vaeki  [author] 4 Mar @ 8:17am
Lucifaron - yeah, the Sisters and Druks in particular are spicier now. Late game Eldar are beastly, it's almost like you have to hunt them down before they can get ridiculous on the higher difficulties. You made my morning, player! :steamhappy:
Lucifaron 4 Mar @ 1:42am
Vaeki just go to the Forums and tell more ppl about your mods. I did it in this thread on the link below. Just do your own thread about the mods, i m sure more ppl want to know about it. Maybe proxy will notice it.

We tested dark eldar and eldar with htis Mod. We play on normal setting vs max difficulty. We have done 2 games and lost both of them. they play massiv better so far, you did a great work. Maybe we have to adjust the difficulty on our side to stand a chance.
Vaeki  [author] 2 Mar @ 8:48am
Lucifaron - I hope the Worthy Sisters' test went well! :steammocking:
Lucifaron 15 Feb @ 7:30am
I will try this mod with my mate. We play on max difficulty Ai so we will see if they do better than before. i will give feedback after the test.
Mindrivet 7 Feb @ 6:28pm
Never thought sisters could be good, but here we are. On max difficulty they held their own.
Vaeki  [author] 5 Feb @ 8:38pm
These sisters are humming are really MUCH better than vanilla. Ow-ee they spicy!
:steamhappy:
Grotzel 31 Jan @ 9:11am
Ah. That makes sense. :)
Vaeki  [author] 31 Jan @ 8:37am
To mod the Ai's use of abilities, I add traits and actions. The interface changes will hide more of these GUI cluttering. So, it is directly related to the Worthy mods. Really just improvements for my mod!
:steamhappy:
Grotzel 30 Jan @ 10:56am
Great to hear - bit confused by the bit about interface changes. What kind of changes do you plan - and wouldn't it be better to put those in a separate mod rather than bundling them up with your AI mod?
Vaeki  [author] 29 Jan @ 3:35pm
Hi Subscribers! Look out for February 8th!
I am planning another update for a cleaner interface, improved Ai action reliability, and to encourage the Sisters to fly and stomp around with their Avengers and Knights in very late game. As I have proceeded through Eldar & Tyranids, I am learning more modding tricks. However, as a result the update, it is likely any saved games will no longer work. So, your options are:
1. Wrap up your match in the next week or so.
2. Save off a copy of the mod in its current state, use that to finish your match.
3. Lose your saved game.
Thanks for playing the Worthy!:steamhappy:
Grotzel 26 Jan @ 2:51pm
Ah ... I can easily imagine that this is a difficult task. May the Hivemind be with you ... wait ... that could be a little unpleasant... the Omnissiah, perhaps?
Vaeki  [author] 26 Jan @ 2:15pm
Thanks, Grotzel!
Developing the Worthy is sort of guess-and-try to see it helps. So, different builds was almost a sort of side-effect of development!
PS(Tyranids a being very difficult).:steamfacepalm:
Grotzel 26 Jan @ 8:50am
Hmmm ...fascinating idea! So you could have multiple Sister Ais in a game that each use different builds? That would be excellent. Different, randomly chosen (or selectable), build orders for faction AIs is something I've long wished for.

So those build orders would be tied to specific leader names for the AI? That could be fun. Who wouldn't want to see how Grutznap Kneesmasher's infamous tide of endless boyz and nobs works compared to to Margrotz Mekmosha's mob of mechanical manglers? ;)

Well, of course you are still busy at the moment with AI modifications for different factions ... but I think you shouldn't forget this interesting idea.
Vaeki  [author] 21 Jan @ 7:48am
I want to briefly add that I can make other builds relatively easily. I was thinking that perhaps I could make several versions of the Sisters, identical except for the StrategyModifiers. When you see a Sister, then, you wouldn't know if it was their Infantry build, Hybrid, Vehicles, or even Air.
There would be multiple copies of the Sisters in the Faction list, slightly different names, but they'd all play the same for notAiControlled players. Just something I'm thinking about.
My focus for now is the Worthy Tyranids, but may circle back to this idea.
Vaeki  [author] 21 Jan @ 7:44am
No bug! It is true that Auxiliaries are a lower priority for Sisters. It's too complex to explain why in detail in a comment, but simply put, for this build they prioritize Requisitions high enough compared to Energy that they seem more effective without it. So, the Worthy Sisters focus on other units. As a result, in very late game, they do tend to fall off, though I am dubious about the value of the Sisters low-hp, high-cost, range-1 super-heavy anyway. Just compare one to a Wraith Knight or Knight Crusaders, and you'll see what I mean. Avengers are powerful enough, just tech-and-production-building expensive.
I do not nudge the other factions with this mod.
gizmo 21 Jan @ 6:19am
Hello!

Again thank you for your effort! Next game I will try with this mod!

Can I bother you with checking - if it;s possible - for a bug. I've battled against Sisters AI (vanilla) and I haven't seen any flyer unit or super heavy mech. It's like they didn't built appropriate building or didn't do research.

Every other race had their super heavies. Now when I think about it, only Orcs had any flyers at all. No other race. Is there a bug so races don't build or research technologies for this building?
Vaeki  [author] 17 Jan @ 10:06pm
Again, my apologies for the crash. I knew it would happen with the Sleep1 fix: it's a big change to the actions. Unfortunately, there is no way I know of to update without crashing old saves when a big change to actions is made. Modding AI action use is complex, with a lot of ad-hoc solutions to quirky AI behaviors. While I do test multiple ways, the deep richness of 11 factions' custom action sets for 100's of units, combined with multiple blackbox algorithms for those actions, makes for a large test-space.

That said, I believe I have addressed all the issues as of the latest update, and no further updates are planned

gizmo 17 Jan @ 1:51am
Hi again!

Thank you for update! However my game now crashes and so I don't have a way to check if Castigator damage values are properly calculated. Is there a way for a update to not crash? I'm a bit afraid to start another game with Sisters in case you push another update. ;)

Have a great day!
Vaeki  [author] 16 Jan @ 7:58pm
I have pushed an update, allow to me apologize in advance if I break anyone's game with it.

Should address gizmo's comment for the Castigator: it should now show correct damage estimate

I attempted to clean up the Sleep1 logs. This action is part of how I manage tthe AI's use of unit ablities. Still working on it.
Vaeki  [author] 16 Jan @ 3:16pm
Thank you, I have seen what you mean. I have a fix for the Castigators. I _think_ I have a solution for the Sleep issue. Will post soon!
gizmo 15 Jan @ 11:24pm
Hello! Thank you for your mod!

Can I trouble you to check if there are changes which cause:
- Castigator to have bad calculations on dmg. Game shows that attack will do 20.1 dmg but it does 8.4. Or similar. Only Castigators seems to be affected.
- After loading game, there are TONS of informations in event log. Like - "Commandery uses Worthy Sisters Sleep1 on..." - on every unit. This makes reading what has happened very hard.

I cannot check it myself if it's this mod, because turning it off crashes game. I've checked all other mods and nothing.

I am playing against all races and Sisters didn't get defeated at turn 125, so they really must play better! ;)
