@Mythril Random. Spawn is a bit rare, but like Leviathan, it should be easy to recognize as it is displayed from a distance.

crossbows are the way to take these things down, though it takes a while. 3 bowmen with a lot of bolts standing on the bridge between BDC and Scraphouse have taken down 2 so far. definitely not kidding about the amount of loot
