@DeadRanger Earls? No, not really.

would this collection be compat with the realistic combat series of mods? cant seem to figure out if your big (ish) overhaul would conflict with that series of mods or not.

Thanks!

@Oddity97 yup

Should I just remove the outdated mod? are all the rest kept in the same order?

@Tycherious cheers mate, thanks for the quick answer

Desyncs can happen and grow worse over campaigns for lots of reasons, there hasn't been any overly muliplayer changes or optimisations but some optimisisations around cpu use have been made by using certtain models, ect ect. I'd suggest giving it a go, reporting where any issues are but also use the following rules to keep desync chances as low as you can:

Use the exact same mod setup (including load order, optional submods, and even UI mods).
Avoid tabbing out during turns — this seems to increase instability.
Designate one player to handle all pvp diplomacy and keep it minimal between human factions.
Don’t spam agents or micromanage settlements excessively at the same time as your co-player.
Try not to go too fast between turns.
Autosave every turn, and ALSO use regular manual saves too, to be able to go back 10 or so turns if desync issues start to creep up on your campaign.

With that said, I haven't played a co-op campaign yet.

@Tycherious Any info if multiplayer campaigns are stable with the submod fixes?

I once played base mk1212 to the 14th century with a friend and we went into a desynch simulator :(

Would really like to try the submod but dont want to comit if it is unstable

PS: any tips on minimizing desynch issues?

@jenki255 Turn off distortion effects, at least I think that's the setting you need to turn off, I don't remember at the moment but it's one of those tick boxes in your settings, if you experiment and find which one it is please let us know!

Hope this helps.

When sieging a city, fire/explosions appear as clear cubes. any idea how to fix?
Tycherious  [author] 13 Jul @ 12:06am
@Big_Zaz Funny you say that! That's how I do it too. ;)

**Some recommend using fewer than the total thread count — 16 worked for me so far, but I’ll experiment with 12 to see if it runs even smoother.

@Tycherious — So I watched the video but did a little research and went with this (and it worked):

1- %AppData%\The Creative Assembly\Attila\scripts
2- preferences.script.txt
3- Searched for the line "number_of_threads 0;"
4- I have a Ryzen 7 7435HS (16 threads), so I set it to "number_of_threads 16;"
5- save preferences.script.txt as read-only

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction — game’s running smooth now. I more or less did the same thing as the video suggested, just through prefrences.script.

@Big_Zaz Let me know if that fixes the issue (I'm confident it will but there's no knowing), thanks for the compliment I hope you enjoy!

Thank you, great job btw!

@Big_Zaz

Hi!!
Youtube this "How To Fix Fps In Total War Attila! (Fixed)"
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wNO_rxfAQ1k

Many new CPU's struggle with Attila but this is an easy fix.

I’m running the full collection and the game freezes every ~30 seconds on the campaign map — it freezes for a second, then keeps going. Pretty sure it's not a PC, not running a potato.

Graphics are already set to low, no AA, load order is correct. Anyone else seeing this? Wondering if it’s a specific submod causing it. Any tips appreciated!

Love this collection - just trying to figure out a solution.
Tycherious  [author] 19 Jun @ 12:39pm
@RobbieP my collection should display in the correct load order as it is. :)
RobbieP 19 Jun @ 1:35am
Where do I find the load order please or am I just being dumb?
Tycherious  [author] 2 Jun @ 10:21pm
@gaiusmariuschen Thanks for bringing this up, if I find a second person with this issue I'll have a dive into it on my PC and see if I can replicate and fix it.

I am not sure what is happening, but even though i have made sure that i am running this modlist in the exact order, the game crashes when I resolve a HRE border dispute regardless of my choice. Anyone else is encountering this problem?
Tycherious  [author] 12 Mar @ 3:22am
@Pyro I'll change it. Go with the official, but it shouldn't be a problem at all.
Pyro 2 Mar @ 11:59am
In your load order, you list the custom cities beta mod below campaign alpha but in the official 1212ad modlist, as well as in game, it says its meant to be the other way around. Is this intentional?
Tycherious  [author] 20 Feb @ 4:59pm
@umbaretz Fixed now.
Tycherious  [author] 20 Feb @ 4:59pm
@umbaretz Oh my. Thanks for pointing this out!
It was just a typo/mistake!
umbaretz 19 Feb @ 8:15am
Just had to ask - is pack 2 after pack 3 the correct load order, or is this a typo?
