Khazukan Kazakit-ha! 17 Apr @ 2:07pm

Great work, this should've already been apart of base game.Glad this exists
The Dark Ranger 14 Feb @ 12:00am
You should be posting ideas in the idea discussion above, how'd you miss that?
RogueMutt 13 Feb @ 2:42pm
Maybe Grimgor could get a boat that looks like it was plundered from the Chaos Dwarfs. A big black metal vessel with some additional artistic liberties in honor of Gork and/or Mork.
Partypus  [author] 12 Feb @ 11:31am
@Vixho, this mod only touches vanilla, except for some mods like We'z Speshul
Vixho 11 Feb @ 9:58pm
Are there any plans to include Araby?
Diggy G 11 Feb @ 9:18pm
These are so cool! Amazing work!
The Dark Ranger 9 Feb @ 8:40pm
I wish this was easier to see on my phone, I'll have to look at the update on my computer since I can't zoom in on the picture and actually see the new ships but from the little bit I do see they look good. Any new ships for the elves will make me happy since I don't particularly care for any of them.
thomasmayrhofer1 9 Feb @ 4:05am
Absolutely great mod for more immersion, thanks a lot for this. Looking very much forward to any new update.
IVaCH 8 Feb @ 8:04am
This mod is amazing, thank you.
Partypus  [author] 8 Feb @ 6:57am
A small update with two new ships
The Dark Ranger 7 Feb @ 9:14pm
Your point about the cultures makes sense to me and I feel like an idiot for not considering the different species. I still want naval combat and navies to be represented at least a little bit more. Maybe only factions with a dedicated navy would have the boat fights and units and everyone else has to hire mercenaries and pirates, there's no shortage of private ship owners who'd be happy to be commissioned to legally pirate stuff or to transport troops for gold.

The ogres having a hodgepodge navy of multiple species and varieties of mercenary ships would be viable, and if any ogre ships exist in lore then they could be included.
brynjar 7 Feb @ 3:34pm
And its an awesome mod btw :D :steamhappy:
brynjar 7 Feb @ 3:31pm
Its based on Warhammer factions. Alot, almost all of them, dont have any naval history or reference points. "Occasionally enjoying naval battles, it would be cool" doesn't really sell the concept.

Wood elves, beastmen, lizardmen, skaven, ALL 4 chaos gods, greenskins, chaos dwarfs, tomb kings, empire, ogre kingdoms (they live banished in the mountains cause they.. ate people) don't really have that naval vibe.

Introducing a standard fleet to all factions, opens up another beehive of problems. We need different naval units for different lords, to match a "lore".

I think for better or worse its good that the naval focused factions are represented in battle, Dark Elves are the best example of this, High Elves could mabey.. use some love on that front or get bonuses to sail speed or w/e. Norsca needs something 100%, dont know what but they need it, insane raiding and smashing harbor settlements mechanic in one turn idk, for them to be fun.
Boshty 7 Feb @ 1:25pm
The Dark Ranger, at least they didnt say 'lets go fr fr' like a cringe heretic freak
Boshty 7 Feb @ 1:23pm
i wish someone would bash the devs over the face with a krumpin stick that says MAKE A DLC FOR NAVAL COMBAT ALREADY!!!!!!!!!!!

Man, What id pay to get some empire/napoleon style naval battles with all the wacky warhammer faction ships.

*curl up in a sad ball as he knows it will never happen*
The Dark Ranger 5 Feb @ 1:44pm
It's already got movement shown from the water below being moved by the engines, I'd say the guy did a pretty good job.
Abra⁧⁧cadabra 4 Feb @ 11:23pm
Would it be possible to add the animations from Makaissons balloon to the ship version of his balloon?
Death death to the IOF! 4 Feb @ 1:09am
LoL the recent comments.
The Dark Ranger 3 Feb @ 8:40am
I feel old, why can't people just type some words out (not slang) and be plain about it? 30 years old and I feel more and more like a boomer every year.
Nyky 3 Feb @ 3:30am
@ The Dark Ranger , they are saying they like your post. + 1 = They agree, like on reddit when you upvote something.
The Dark Ranger 1 Feb @ 11:53am
@TheHonoredPerson. What do you mean by typing +1 and leaving it at that?
TheHonoredPerson-333 1 Feb @ 6:16am
The Dark Ranger, +1
The Dark Ranger 30 Jan @ 11:44am
The way they haven't released a game with naval combat since Attila Total War is absolutely disgraceful. I'm not a huge fan of naval battles but I occasionally enjoy them and I enjoy having them in the game and managing my fleets and ships.

I think they just got lazy, Thrones of Britannia, Three Kingdoms, Troy, Pharoahs(?), and the Warhammer trilogy all have no naval combat and navies.

Especially for Warhammer since it would be very interesting since many navies will use any type of ship, capturing norsican longships in battle and using them in following battles with my own crews for support vessels would be fun, no need to worry about the wind if I can pin a ship and have a bigger one come up and assist, plus they could implement shallow water mechanics for costal battles where some ships can get closer to shore than others, it would add a fantastic new level of strategy.

Plus hybrid battles with land armies, those would be so fun, especially if a reef or something was nearby.
Guvenoren 30 Jan @ 11:19am
This just makes me wish there was naval combat in this game.
Looks really nice tho!
Partypus  [author] 27 Jan @ 5:58am
I do not know
ye 27 Jan @ 2:59am
does this work with sfo?
Partypus  [author] 26 Jan @ 11:02am
I'll just make a smaller ship in the same style.
Sunginious the Brave 25 Jan @ 5:09pm
What are you going to do with Lokhir Fellheart? Since his ship is already a unique blackark.
knopi 22 Jan @ 7:13am
yo can you make me a mod that makes the "restock" ability infinite use?
Partypus  [author] 20 Jan @ 4:23am
I thought for a long time that the Black Ark with the octopus's head was his ship, until I checked it in the game, and it turned out not to be so. It's a skin for his second army.
So I didn't even think about it until now.
The Dark Ranger 19 Jan @ 2:37pm
Not even for the Kraken Lord guy?
Partypus  [author] 19 Jan @ 11:58am
For the Dark Elves, I have plans to give Rakkarth a Death Fortress ship from Man 'o War. But for this it is necessary to make additional efforts because of the animations for Sea Dragon. For the rest of the Dark Elves, I don't have the inspiration to make ships.
The Dark Ranger 19 Jan @ 11:00am
Can you focus on the Dark Elves next please? This culture of raiders and slavers having such narrow ships that can't hold loot, slaves or war monsters just bugs me. Not to mention food and water for long distance raiding.

Their ships just bug me so much, especially for someone like Rakkarth with all of his beasties.
Partypus  [author] 19 Jan @ 9:21am
@The Dark Ranger, maybe, but it seems to me that this DLC is unlikely to add any new ships

@Commodus, who knows :sunglassesDoge:
Commodus 19 Jan @ 7:51am
So next naval battles right?:P
The Dark Ranger 19 Jan @ 6:43am
Neat, tyvm for the swift reply. Will you wait to do the high elves until after the rumored DLC?
Partypus  [author] 19 Jan @ 6:35am
Sea Squigs in the lore.
"Ships made from wood and iron are not the only vessels upon the seas of the Warhammer world. Boats of bone, fur, and scale also ply the oceans, bearing sailors of many races to destinations all across the Old World and beyond. There are whispered rumours that certain Orc tribes have discovered a massive Sea Squig and are using it to raid shipping lanes."

About shipbuilding. No, it's just a visual mod
