for some reason this mod makes all my rookies sniper then promotes to reaper if I have the trainable reaper mod or to samurai if i have it enabled. it doesn't promote through the sniper skill tree. tried to disable either the trainable reaper or the samurai or disable both but it's still weird. I don't get the regular classes (ranger, grenadier, specialist, sharpshooter). I'm out of ideas, any kind of help is very much appreciated

Enjoying playing the sniper class. Lots of fun. Does anyone know what the benefits are of "Mighty Take Down - Gain Might after slaying an enemy"? Not sure what Might does.

You should be able to use ABB as a replacement. I think they use the same ability template names.

One of the requirements is the ABB Perk Pack, but I already have ABB in my modpack. The page says using both mods together could be disastrous. What do?

hi, I put your mod together with lwotc and the game swears on the perk pack, and it doesn't write on which one specifically, namely that with this modification, lwotc will function incorrectly. Do you know why this is?

UPDATE: Fully revamped the class. Fixed the GTS perks not costing anything and now have proper rank requirements. Details found here. This class as of now is complete and being ported over to the viper class pack!

so this class mod and the others i tried from you disable any vanilla classes and LW2 classes (since shadow ups has it as a dependency) to be chosen with either the GTS or Commanders choice? also the LW2 Classes Perk Pack advice's strongly against using it with the normal LW2 classes mod, but shadow ops seems to require the normal LW2 classes?

But it works with [WOTC] Dedicated Pistol Slot 2.0, without error message. You have to do the following:
Dedicated Pistol Slot 2.0: To use this, the integrated Pistol Slot in LWOTC has to be disabled by the following .ini edit:
DISABLE_LW_PISTOL_SLOT = True in XcomLWOverhaul.ini 2. Mods that work but have minor issues that would need to be fixed by the original mod author (or caretaker) but are playable in their current state.

Then you have to add the classes from LWOTC in [WOTC] Dedicated Pistol Slot 2.0 so that the pistol slot is available there again. I hope this helps a little.

Since I was testing, I tried with [WOTC] Dedicated Pistol Slot 2.0 enabled, and it gives an error (LWOTC) that I need to disable it or the game wont function corrected .

Merist, on Discord suggested that I used LWoTC Perk Swapper Config. I already had that installed, and on my test, I promoted a rookie, and it seems all perks are showing:

So long story short, yes, you can use this class without the pistol slot in lwotc as they have a pistol slot already

Good news my friend. This particular class doesn't REQUIRE the 3rd weapon, it was mostly used for mobility, so yes, you will be ok. The only problem might be missing perks if you don't use the lw2 perk pack, as they use different ability template names... otherwise I think it SHOULD work fine with LWOTC

Hey Bro wanna make a kick ass mod for frozen enemies. i think it would be awesome to have frozen enemies take more damage from bullets and explosives, recovers from fire damage and is immune the other debuffs

Update: True primary is glitched as shit with my classes... So I changed the requirements to use the normal one, which functions as intended without all the bs.

You need the perk packs... I am probably going to have to create a custom "weapon" slot for these classes so they are more compatible with other things.

LWOTC has a boolean somewhere in its config that refers to "old pistol slot rules." Use a CTRL + F and search "pistol" in the configs... its somewhere there I dont know where though off the top of my head.

I THINK the lwotc perks are using the same internal ability names.. if you have everything minus the lwotc perk pack installed and its missing abilities, then you will be safe to install it alongside lwotc since it uses different ability names for its perks. Only problem I could see is a potential awc role for the "same" perk. Thats easy to fix with "im the commander here" mod.

If you need me to break it down further just add me and Ill walk you through the process.

The issue i had with this mod when installed with the EpisodeZero actual modlist is some perk don't show up.
I am total newbie when it come to mods ,i can change a few things but that's all.
Anyway thank you very much for this usefull reply , i will try again , cauz your class are very complete. I like the fact that you have others perk than normal perk and add a "mastery" like the snipe mastery here and other mastery to the other class mods you made , it's really nice and interesting

You can still use it with ted jam LOl. Just don't sub to the lw2 class perk. Iirc, it has the same ability template names as LWOTC so it should be fine. Same with the LW2 secondaries, as they are already part of LWOTC.

Pistol slot will need some tinkering on lwotc, there is an option to revert to old pistol slot, that would be needed and it should be good.

Also, if I'm being honest, having each of your mods disable the ShadowOps classes creates a lot of work undisabling them.

If I can make a suggestion, calling them something other than just "Sniper" would be very helpful. I think have three classes called that already and it gets confusing,
