Report a translation problem
The only way to have a portal spit you out into a 'random' hole is to have a single portal entrance connected to multiple portal exits. This is why the initial drop in for each level force-rolls you into a portal. The problem is, the portal exit you roll out of is truly random. There's no way to make it remember which portal exits you've already been through and not spit you out into the same course over and over again. If the game had any tool or configuration option to fix this issue, I promise I would have used it.
