why is parrying always associated with either ultrakill or pizza tower

and compile+reload only when 1 instance of tmodloader is running and the server is also not running

you can check if multiplayer is working properly by running two instances of tmodloader using start-tModLoader.bat and running a local server with start-tModLoaderServer.bat, then have both clients join localhost

working again on servers- as it is, its great- lightning effect i think is better, and the timing is working properly- the config options previously were good but i think the lightning should stay. parry window is perfect, but i think if there should be configs for anything it should be able to change the percent of health you do maybe? goodluck!

Just uploaded a revert.
v0.5.2

I'll test better next time.
The Void 29 Jan @ 6:19pm
The mechanic doesnt work for me on the new update, I literally time perfectly when Im gonna get hit and i dont parry nothing idk if you dropped the frames for the parry to activate but its undoable now for me
Antico 28 Jan @ 10:34pm
new update doesnt allow the mod to start on servers now btw -

I'm trying to draw the thunder-bolts directly.
As of right now, that feature is using dusts, but I'm trying to learn how to directly draw the effect, so I could customize it more.

But yeah, that was my original intent, I wanted to make a black-flash effect at the start, but I couldn't find a better-fitting dust/particle for that.
Sad Platinum 28 Jan @ 5:25pm
There should be an option to make the critical zenith different colors, I'm specifically looking for black and red, like a black flash. Like red outline and black inline.

how does zenith blade work? i have yet to activate it i think - if you could post a video of you showing the activation and all that would be awesome.
BearBear 25 Jan @ 11:00am

That icon is sick, I'll put it in the next update. Thank you so much.
I'll have time tomorrow, today I have to deliver an app.
SunnGod 24 Jan @ 4:13pm
That fanart icon is tough bro!

The parry cooldown resetting instantly after a successful parry would be nice so you can actually get up close and personal with enemies.
Moki 22 Jan @ 1:04pm
Somehow better than most defence mechanics in popular mods (looking at you, Overhaul...)
Would be perfect if you could modify the mechanics' numbers themselves, but the mechanics are pretty balanced to the point it isn't a big issue.

thanks for your feedback.
You're right about the configuration, so I will upload a new version today, containing a weird feature, who knows if you will like it or not, but after that, I will add the configuration form or whatever it is called in tmodloader.
I will try to aim making every feature toggeable or configurable (with a default config of course)
Pest_404 20 Jan @ 8:53am
All this mod needs to be peak is configuration tbh
Dexter Morgan 19 Jan @ 11:57am
Ultrakill
Sakono Manatsu 19 Jan @ 3:48am
I REALLY like this mod, it's like orchid's gauntlet parry mechanic but as a standalone mechanic, and the sound effects have active feedback as to how good your parry was plus noticeable but not too obstructive particles IMO, It'd be great to have a config though, for both mana consumption and recharge rate as well as particle obstruction in case people find it too obstructive :steamhappy:
