Canadian Flag is broken - might be from the update regardless the Naval Ensign and the Regular flag show up as the Canadian Maple Leaf and on the ship itself is just a red flag.

New update's broken the mod again unfortunately. Also as feedback - the post-1994 South African naval ensign is a variant of the British naval ensign, but with a green cross and South African flag

Yeah seconded, update's definitely messed with the mod - the pirate ensign isn't showing at all, for instance. Love the work you've done with this so no complaints :)

Unless I'm doing this wrong, it doesn't seem like this is working with the recent update. Specifically, the Japanese ships still have the flag of Japan rather than the Rising Sun that is supposed to be in the mod.

Hey cptWillie, I've had a look today and I can't replicate this issue on my side. In addition looking at that error; The warning indicates that Unity found a texture in its cache with a specific hash value (c2tnjzqqdobonsu9qeqp0a==), but it's not necessarily an error that will break your game. It's more of an informational message about Unity's texture caching system.

I'd try adding my mod to the top of your load order. The flags that you mention are also from my most recent update so maybe remove and re-add the mod as perhaps there was an updating issue?

some of the flags lead to this continuous error in the log file:
[Unity] WARNING: ships/materials/textures/flag_trinidad.png: Texture found in cache with hash c2tnjzqqdobonsu9qeqp0a==</font><font color=black> in UnityLog.cs: HandleUnityLog (line 55)</font>

so far I've found Colombia, Trinidad, and El Salvador throw this error. It eventually leads to maxing out the log file and game crash. Thought you should know.

Could you possibly look into porting in the flags of the Spanish Civil War for me, please? I'd be mostly looking for Republican and Catalan flags. Also, something resembling the MGS Foxhound emblem in a flag would be cool too. I've got some campaigns in the works that could really use those to improve immersion. I'd appreciate it greatly.

I've just downloaded this today and unfortunately about half the flags don't seem to be working. Some are, so definitely some made it into the game that weren't there originally, like the NATO flag or Russia, but many come up as default USSR flags, or are totally black.

I'm using this new one, the one without sealifter.

branweer01 I tried to get the swallowtail working in this update, but I get a really nasty black texture when I try to load those shapes, so apologies but west germany didn't make this update. I'm going to have to experiment a bunch more to work out a way to do it.

The West German Navy has its own flag as well. Of course, the triangular cut at the end (swallowtail) isn’t possible yet, but maybe you could add the Bundesadler (German coat of arms)for a first version, to distinguish naval vessels from civilian ships?

Hey guys, as per my update in the description. In news with the latest patch, you no longer need sealifter/anchorchain. But reach out if you have issues.

I'm still taking requests for other flags as well.

Make sure to follow the instructions to get anchorman and sealifter installed. That's what will be stopping the flags from appearing.
