Hey, thanks for the work you put in. I really enjoy the missionsc <3. I'am wondering tho, can it be played with NTU and Pact Enhance Mod? Its probably balanced for vanilla sea power I assume?

@Xceptor Thank you very much! I am constantly improving the ready missions. Now I am adding messages and narratives. I added text to missions 1-7 Sad War. Now there are about 4000 letters of text in each mission. I will also add to the rest of the missions in the near future. I am gaining experience, learning. Feedback and advice from players helps a lot.

Since I replayed to campaign, I hate to say, its easily in the top 3 best mission mods for Sea Power. A must play. Only thing I could be critical about (and its a personal preference) is that I really like more a more Narrative structure. More intel pop ups, situation changes intel pop ups, characters etc

@camtastic88 The main goal is to destroy the floating base "Santa Barbara". There won't be enough ammunition to completely clear the map of all enemies. You can confirm warehouses or ground units. Sorry for the delay in responding.

Anyone else having trouble with mission 4 Remember Sinop? I tried multiple times but to kill the sub base but the Grad rockets dont have enough damage to kill it. Also the torpedos either run aground or miss their targets entirely.

В первой миссии комплекс SA-10 не отображается. Ни на стабильной ветке ни на бета версии. Можешь подскаазать возможную проблему?

@moonjy1120 Thank you! Coming soon. There is a randomizer in the mission. There are mass raids of air groups of 20+ aircraft. The game version of the S-300 does not have enough ammunition. Otherwise, I would have to install a lot of game versions of the S-300 👍

Nice mod! Is there any reason to use custom land_unit sa-10 in mission 1? (think it's same with ingame s-300)

@Swift The mission legend suggests that the newly captured airfields will be used as jump-off airfields. So that the player could play a little with logistics. The game does not allow you to adjust the amount of remaining fuel. That's why I removed the weapons to force the Tu-22 to land on the airfield. Even the movepoints there lead to the airfields.

Question not sure if this is a bug or not but on the last mission, there is 2 squads of Tu-22s over the black sea and neither of them have any ordnance is this on purpose or a bug?

@Dabby[GER] Made changes to missions #1, 3, 5. After your feedback. Randomness is made to allow you to play missions many times. Randomness of unit spawns does not affect the overall balance. Sad War is more difficult than most other companies. It is difficult to complete without losing ships the first time. That is what a randomizer is for. 🤝

@Dabby[GER] There is a randomizer in the missions. Apparently you were not lucky and in your game the enemy spawned more air reconnaissance units. Try intercepting Harpoons with fighters. Good luck!

It was the "HMAS Melbourne '98" mod, for some reason it breaks AAV7 APC, and, probably, other vehicles armed with 50th cal MGs.

For some reason, mission 5 crashes on load with error message telling something about "SeaPower.CIWS.setMuzzleVelocity" with "SeaPower.ObjectsManager.createLandUnit" also in callstack.

@Įηşąŋę There are no modified units in my missions. The mod is built on the vanilla version of the game. I only added kitbash divisional area S-300. It is needed for mission balance. Works with other mods. Something is not working?

@mmilovidov Glad you liked it. Now I'm doing a sequel in the Mediterranean. Will publish new missions soon. I like missions with light forces. Launching long-range missiles from beyond the horizon is not interesting. Thanks for the feedback! (Если что, можно на русском) 👍

Wow. It is really cool. It deserves to be included as vanilla campaign. Only two requests: 1) use another airfields without blockage of taxiing to takeoff while any plane landing and taxiing to hangar; 2) variation of mod without random units, just all of them has 100 % chance to spawn. Yes, its imperfections which should be headache of developer of the game, but he is busy now.

@Tiirshak Probably a unit file is damaged in your game folders. Possibly a conflict with other mods. Try unsubscribing from all mods except Sad War and reinstalling the game to the regular release version. If that doesn't work, write me a private message. I'll send you the mod file. Good luck!

@Baltazar - I am getting a "Object reference not set to an instance of an object" error when I try to load this scenario both on beta stable 166 and now 168. Any solutions to what would be causing that ?

@Sneaky Pete I'm glad you liked it. I'm gradually adding more and more opportunities for replayability. I'll eventually rework the NATO campaign. Write me feedback on the next missions. Played Mission 1 yesterday and had all three random chance support fleets spawn as well and it turned into a 6 hour slug fest that the Russians barely pulled off with a win. I then tried it again today and none of the support fleets spawned and it was a breeze. I like the random toughness. GREAT MISSION, but hard on the system specs.

I just downloaded the campaign and in the third mission the player starts as playing NATO, not USSR. Is that intended?

@Pogo , I did it 3 times from 4. Use Slava Fort as S300 , use both electronic warfare planes,
use Kilo. That's it.
Amazing a lot of fun, im glad to see missions for soviets they are kinda scarce.

@Pogo Of course, I tested all the missions many times. I started creating the company 4 months ago and constantly improved it by receiving feedback. Many people have completed it completely. The company is difficult, but it is possible to complete it. Make decisions quickly, attack immediately, do not wait for full target identification. Massive missile attacks. Use electronic warfare and a submarine. Try again. Good luck! 🙂

В его последнем бою (в печальной реальности 2022) антенный пост СУ "Форт" ЗРК С-300Ф , кстати, не был включен. Крейсер так и утонул с антенным постом в походном состоянии.
Насчет "цель не выполненна" просто подумал, вдруг в условиях стоит, что ни одна ракета не должна прилететь по Евпатории или по Севе. Это предотвратить сложно.

Спасибо, мне понравилась первая миссия, а то второй раз не стал бы проходить;)
Знаменитую "Славу"-"Москву" оба раза выкидывал на берег рядом с С300 под Бельбеком., как второй С300 в Севастополе. Важно только радар ПВО на крейсере включить.
