what's with the dependency?

That kinda defeats the purpose because your trees can spread :P And also so that you can just plant trees with the Forester without forgeting to mark the trees.

Nice idea! I just hoped it would be a bit smarter and only mark squares that actually had trees on them

v7.0.1: should work with U7 April 02 Update now.

who would want to select a 2x2 or 1x2 area? Maybe you mean those irregular shapes that are 1- wide but zigzagging through? they would be more than a 2x2 area so they could be automatically selected. It's especially the single tiles that is a nightmare to un-select, one by one.

But even just a Deselect option would be enough to make it easier.

Unselect all sounds reasonable but what do you mean by not selecting 2x2? It's exactly the reason I use this mod for, those small areas are annoying to select.

This is a great mod IN THEORY. In real beaver life, the tool marks every single cube's upper face, making it a nightmare to unselect. I have abandoned a map because of that, my fault because I didn't think ahead.
Could it be possible to add:
1. Unselect all
2. do not select areas < 2x2
This way it will ignore those pesky little spaces, plus we'll be able to unselect all once we're done deforesting the map.

v7.0.0: compatible with U7. All ground levels are marked for cutting.

Glad you are enjoying the mods :)

Thanks a lot ! I basically always want trees to be cut, except when doing something special, but then I can just cut out an exclusion.
