Chagos mission always crashed on startup. Other missions work fine.

Really great stuff iblank! Loved the first SAG v SAG play too. As others said it felt balanced. I was also curious, did the first mission have that one detached ship refitting at Subic Bay? Cause if so it ended up in Manila bay. I saw where it roughly was from your mission and got inspired to build 'subic bay' naval base and airbase but did it on the land just north of the ship. Only to later find out that bay is Manila not Subic! (It kinda hard to build Subic bay since the land isnt the right angle if that makes sense - cant dredge up land like the docks are at Subic IRL unfort in game so not the right shape but a fella can try)

Anyway now I either go all in on fake NAS Manila or try to redo Subic lol

I played Black Bear, and dropped tons of Sonar buoys in marked areas and where SS-N-19s were spotted, could not detect a single submarine. Is that normal?

Is "Point Cobra" supposed to be marked on the map in mission 4? I got the popup about it being linked to an objective, but I can't see where it is. I saved and loaded earlier in the mission, not sure if that causes any bugs.

@Str1key, you can do randomspawn location around given points/units at a random range/bearing; its in missionfileinformation.ini contained in streamingassets/original/missions/demo/

@bob, nice, glad to hear it! Yea, Ryu played the original version, I changed the Yarnell DLG/CG thing a while back so that is intended and how the mission will stay until I completely overhaul the pack

Tried the first scenario and holy crap this is awesome. Love the pop in mesage updates. Managed to snipe the Kresta with the P-3's Harpoons, which helped soften up the enemy TF. Had an awesome missile exchange with the Slava that was amazing to watch, over 40 ASMs going past each other in both directions. Few scenario notes:

1. Despite the loss of TASMs onboard the Mississippi, I still had enough Harpoons on my ships to completely sink the enemy force, and that was without dipping into using my SAMs as ASMs or using guns. I wouldn't be worried about adjusting ship seleciton based on this.

2. I noticed that ryu's version of the mission had the pre-refit version of the Yarnell in his playthrough. In my mission, Yarnell was post-refit and had SM-2ER's and 8 Harpoons (which made up for the missing 8 TASMs). Was this an intentional change? Even if it wsn't the mission still felt balanced.

@Hobby, yea when I originally made the mission, the ship had TASMs, at some point they upgraded that model to have TLAM instead of TASM, nothing I can do about that unfortuantely.

Whenever I overhaul the mission pack, I'll probably reevaluate the ship selection, but I don't really want to do that cause I'd have to change it in all future missions

@iBlank Thank you very much for the mission pack. A quick question. I just played Mission 1. SAG vs. SAG. I was really really close at the end. The amout of Harpoons is not big and it needs quite a bunch of luck to complete the mission. I watched a video about the mission and I recognized that he was also able to fire TASMs at the target. With the TASMs the mission was not so much depending on luck getting past the SAM-Coverage of the Sowjets.
But. In my mission the ship is only equipped with TLAMs (not possoble to fire at ships).
So the question is, did you do this on purpose to make the mission more difficult or is it a bug resulting maybe from a newer version of the game? I of course double checked. I got the newest version from the workshop.

@ijsthee, you're not supposed to. Per the fragord you get, your #1 mission is to support the Jax and that is it, you can disregard your prior mission

How am i supposed to destroy land targets in op Cobra if my helicopters keep getting shot down before i'm able to acquire any targets? Other than that good missions so far.

Amazing set of missions, I love the focus on commanding a single Task Force as you grow to care for the ships under your command. Really making me wish for narrative campaigns that change depending on how well you do. Kind of like Panzer Corps but for naval operations. Hope you make more mission packs!

@peter1985 : go lower on graphical settings.
This is the only advice we could give about it...
On my 2yo PC (12700KF+4070Ti, both OC + 5200 DDR 32Go), everything works fine here.
between 35 and 60 fps with high settings.
and this game is really beautifull ^^
But I'm pretty sure there is some major improvement to come about optimisation.
It's still a beta and need some months of work.
