Volume/Mass Fix for some SCS cargoes

1.54 means full rework so I generally "shouldn't" touch anything for now because SCS will most likely fix such things themselves - the update is still not stabilized despite the fact the release is "final"

given this, I'll update the mod in some future in case SCS does not fix the weights in a long time (also I barely have enough time for proper examination of the problem in 1.54)

Hey appreciate the mod just wondering if you will update to the new cargo system that's on 1.54 at some point?

4 cargoes already touched by this mod also overheld both mass and volume changes, and the same would happen to the pallets, just into reverse direction of decreasing mass - but since the 1.54 will contain cargo def rework I guess I won't release any changes until the final release of the game update

thanks for your feedback @hottt3, I'll be keeping that in mind and thinking what to do next carefully :queenleonora:

@Noobicuz, @PikPikker For me, changing the default mass does not seem a good idea. If you really want it, please make a separate mod for that.

Yes that´s right :)

hello! am I understanding you right - you are talking about changing their default 23000 kg mass (on a default trailer) to 9900 kg, right? sounds doable, interesting and realistic, I'll have a look a little bit later, but I also wonder what other drivers think about this - I'm waiting for some little feedback from other on that point :steamhappy:

Hey, nice mod. I noticed that the weight for empty pallets is way to high. 23t or smth if I remember correctly. In real life, if we calculate with EURO-Pallets with a weight of ~20kg we end up on 9.900kg for 495 Pallets (15/Stack on 13,6 meters)

I reported some of them (forklifts), it was more than a month ago and SCS still hasn't responded... I hope they do it someday but meanwhile we can enjoy this fix

Thanks for the mod! I didn't know about those bugs in the game. Are they going to fix them?

Thank You! 💪

it happens in ATS the day I get back to it, which I hope comes soon :steerme:

meanwhile there is an ATS mod by me which fixes the train axles weight, hopefully it is accessible somehow through my workshop profile

In ATS this happens too?

finally logical cargo weight

Your position is total understandable!

thanks for your feedback!

I see what you're talking about, I checked SCS reefer defs and I only see the cooler just adds 700 kg to the trailer mass keeping the 35t limit on 3 axles - which still means about 26t of load is possible

it's mostly like SCS are wrong on that point but such problem, well, is a little another case rather than this mod covers and requires reworking of all the reefer defs - and I'm not sure if it would be that "harmless" for the default game (even if it's not - it's just a massive work for less than 10% of mass difference)...

lastly - and that's imho - the difference between 22 and 24 tons is not that sensible and since our game is not that much of a true simulator I find that acceptable... the original idea of this mod was about fixing 2x cargo mass difference when it was 12t instead of 24t - which makes a HUGE difference :FH5DangerSign:

I hope my position is understandable! :lovegrenade:

Thanks for your work! Most of the time I drive refrigerated transport and I feel that some loads are too heavy. In particular I mean loads of 24 tons. Since a refrigerated truck is heavier than a normal trailer, the load mass must be less. I have researched (used trucker/haulage forums and manufacturers' technical specifications) that it is realistic to transport a maximum of 22.5 tons. I do not use modded cargo.
