Actually embarrassing that some people despise tibbies ...

actually embarrassing that I have to be in the same community as people who use this mod

Thank you for making this mod, it is much more motivating to survive lol.

I think it will be good to mention "don't enable another body mod" for people who are not familiar with modding, so that they know they only need to enable the texture from the other mod.

Can you reshape B41/B42] I Need More Style: Clothing Edition and KATTAJ1 Military Pack?

@InkyEmber, I couldn't care less if you update it. It's actually very good as-is. I think the tradeoff is fine. Some clipping is expected, and it's actually very good for the outfit packs you converted so I'll keep using them anyway.

It's kinda sad maybe there won't be new clothes packs to fit it, but I understand you ran into complications and rather wait to spend effort when it's completely to your taste. Would be kinda dumb to have to re-edit every little outfit (hundreds probably) after you can update the model in some potential near future (knowing zomboid that might be years).

Anyways. Yeah, no thanks. You did all the hard work. At least you started with the good outfit packs. Can't wear a million costumes anyway so I'm totally fine with it. Have a nice summer m8! :pillow:

@Redacted - A new model could be possible before B42 leaves its beta state, but I don't want to get betrayed by the constant updates adding even more work to do. I don't play Project Zomboid regularly anymore, so I see it as kind of a hassle. But still, it's cool to share things with people and know that they like it. Lol. :spiffo:
InkyEmber  [author] 13 Jun @ 12:29pm
@Redacted - Thank you for your words. It's a shame to stop updating this model, I spent several days trying to improve it little by little. But it reached a point where its polygons just couldn't handle any more. I kept sculpting the body's anatomy and similar details, but the more I edited it, the more blocky and less editable the body became. A nightmare that can only be solved by creating a new body from scratch.

That's where the X format comes in, it's a headache to convert it into something editable, and I'm not willing to go through that with a model I can no longer work on.
Redacted 13 Jun @ 8:34am
@InkyEmber

Quite the disappointment. The model is pretty good. But I bet you have valid reasons due to limitations. You got my vote for a future release +1.
InkyEmber  [author] 2 Jun @ 11:05am
@d.pras bling-bling

I apologize, but I’m no longer releasing updates for this mod. The 'X' format used by Project Zomboid is just too inconvenient for me to work with.

Once Build 42 is out of its Beta stage, I'm considering making a new model from scratch, using this one as a reference. (The one in this mod has very few polygons, making it hard to edit.) :steambored:

is it possible if the distance between the left and right legs is narrowed further?
because there is a clipping with the weapon placed on the belt

Just popped-in to say... I'm not sure if I can ever go back to the standard model. :)
Great Work! Take my Points and shut up :) :pillow:

@InkyEmber - I see. Then, maybe you should open a 'discussion' or something and incentivize players to list a bunch of links (maybe even update that as they come in) and keep tracks of all the fitting outfit mods (I think that'll help standardize this as a new body model as well). If people try their favourites you can get some feedback for free.

I did a short run with the model. Haven't ran into any clothes yet that clip with meshes with the above-mentioned list. Only thing I noticed is when you sneak sometimes skirts clip and show skin on the butt. Nothing to worry about, but thought I'd mention it (It's the leather frockin splendor miniskirt).

And thanks for considerations. :spiffo:

@Des - This mod doesn’t include options to adjust bust size. If you're mainly using mods that focus on 3D clothing or if you’ve found an item that hasn’t been adjusted to prevent clipping with a Reshaped sub mod yet, and you can’t ignore it, I suggest trying a model with a flat chest. I recommend the new Body Overhaul by Tomb.

Alternatively, you can use an external program to edit the character body/clothes yourself.
「Des」 24 Apr @ 10:55pm
cant we adjust the boob size?
the breast one is way to point and it makes alot of the jackets clip weirdly as if the boob is sticking out...super weird
InkyEmber  [author] 24 Apr @ 9:53am
@Redacted - I’ll take a look on your mods. I’d love to handle all the requests I’ve received, but sometimes when I’m about to edit the clothing, I find out the mesh is made of so few polygons that everything looks blocky, it’s like trying to sculpt with Lego. Reshaping that on this body is basically mission impossible unless I recreate the clothing from scratch myself, lol.

I checked out some of the mods you shared, and I think some of them already work fine without reshaping (like Enhanced Bunny Suits, it’s literally the bunny outfit from my preview image) because they’re the type of clothing that’s just painted directly onto the character’s body, not actual 3D models. :steamsad:
InkyEmber  [author] 24 Apr @ 9:32am
@Hunterr - Yeah, it's somewhat similar. Project Zomboid has two types of clothing:

• Clothes that have a 3D model. (Jackets, Long Coats, etc...)
• Clothes that are just a texture over the body. (shirts, pants, gloves, socks, etc....)

The ones with a 3D model require manual adjustment, similar to Skyrim. And the ones that go over the body, as the name suggests, adapt automatically without needing to mess with the files.

Fortunately, the clothes that are just textures over the body are the majority, so in almost any clothing mod, everything should look right.
Redacted 22 Apr @ 8:32am
I'm very happy to see this mod get clothes fitted. I see you are plannign on the other volumes of Frocking Splendor (and I hope kink it up as well). But in a distant future, I just wanted to list a few other mods I hoped seeing included in the conversion list.

Respectivly in order of preference;
- Bianca's Wardrobe
- Countrygurl Bikini
- ahz Clothing
- Tinted Tights and Stockings
- Panty Raiders
- Enhanced Bunny suits
- Schools out
- Ellies Clothing Shop.

Also, not sure yet, but bandoliers, slings, backpacks etc. I hope they fit well because that's self-evidently priority over 'nice things'.

Thanks for the cool bod. Writing code-history. It just works. :love_seagull:
Hunterr 21 Apr @ 7:19am
I guess this wont fit for most clothing mods or even vanilla ones? Clothing has to be made for this specific body or not? Its like with Skyrim etc.
InkyEmber  [author] 18 Apr @ 5:08pm
🌸♡Emily♡🌸 - I can think of three possible reasons:

- You activated my mod but didn’t restart Project Zomboid, so you're seeing the vanilla model with custom skin textures. (Just close and reopen the game while my mod is active.)

- You enabled my mod and one of the skin textures I recommended, but also activated a different Body Model by mistake. It’s now last in the Load Order, overwriting mine and causing a flatter model. (Check that there’s no extra Body Model active. One of the recommended textures includes a similarly named one without the [Reshaped] tag.)

- The mods preset for your save doesn’t include my mod, or vice versa: your save has it, but your Main Menu preset doesn’t. (Make sure the mod is enabled in both the Main Menu and your ongoing save. Then, load into the save so the mod fully applies, and close the game. Next time you play, it should display correctly.)
🌸♡Emily♡🌸 18 Apr @ 1:24pm
for some reason the breasts are not bigger they are the same as normal vanilla texture? BUT it worked earlier but now its stopped working and i changed nothing in the mods list. it just changed suddenly when i made a new world?
BOSS 10 Apr @ 11:26am
Some of the base game's shirts, jackets, and coats seem to be off-the-rack, not cropped, but not form-fitting.

And the few clothes I've seen that are cropped are the overalls and the 3D aprons.

Anyway, I apologize if anyone has already pointed this out.
InkyEmber  [author] 3 Apr @ 1:41pm
@XYZ_Infinity - Yeah, I will try to include all the volumes of Frockin Splendor in my submod Frockin Splendor Series [Reshaped]. In the description of this mod, you can see which ones have been worked on so far.

The ones that haven't been worked on yet can still be used. The clothing that requires a reshape is usually a minority, mainly 3D models like jackets and coats.
XYZ_Infinity 3 Apr @ 11:45am
Are you planning to do the rest of Frockin Splendor (vol 1 & 2)?
InkyEmber  [author] 3 Apr @ 9:11am
@Tom and his newspaper. - Thanks for letting me know! I'll fix it as soon as I'm home. :spiffo:
Tom and his newspaper. 3 Apr @ 6:41am
Hey InkyEmber, I really appreciate your work! I noticed that the V-neck sweater vest from Spongie's Open Jackets has some minor clipping. When you have a chance, could you take a look and see if it can be fixed? Thanks so much!
InkyEmber  [author] 25 Mar @ 6:41pm
@Shiesty Mark - Hello! I appreciate your words. Modded clothes have minor clipping, but naturally, if you use too many modded outfits, the ones that clip will start stacking up. Luckily, I'm starting to have more free time, so I'll begin updating soon. :steamhappy:

Spongie's outfits already had a Reshape version, but I had to remove it because I made changes to the body (that’s the annoying part of modified bodies). Most clothes have very few polygons, so sculpting them onto the body is really difficult unless the sculpting is meant for the vanilla model.

I want to add that I'll probably upload a version to Nexus Mods with the same name, in case someone who doesn’t have access to the Workshop downloads is reading this.
Shiesty Mark 24 Mar @ 4:17pm
Any plan on a fix for spongies clothing? Or does it even have issues with that clothing mod? I'm just now installing because this is by far the best model I've seen, but I also don't want major clipping issues, I don't mind minor clipping. Appreciate your work and no rush by any means!
InkyEmber  [author] 23 Mar @ 7:55pm
@Aacad - Sorry for the wait! I thought it would be easy to fix, but that accessory turned out to be a real pain. I had to edit some XML files first, which is done now. Then, I spent hours sculpting its shape over the body and tweaking vertex groups to make it fit right. But before I could finish, I had to drop it because other things came up that needed my attention more.

I never thought reshaping accessories would be harder than clothing. I'll keep working on it, but I’d rather leave it as a low priority for now, clothing feels more important at this point. :steambored:
Aacad 22 Mar @ 7:11pm
I'm waiting for your modification!
InkyEmber  [author] 22 Mar @ 9:21am
@Aacad - Don't worry, I'm already working on it. I didn't expect it to take this long, the export process is a real mess, lol.
Aacad 22 Mar @ 9:05am
Well, I opened the file, but there was nothing interpretable about me..
Aacad 22 Mar @ 8:57am
Hell, I asked another community a question and thought it was the answer, but it wasn't.

I'm sorry I couldn't help you.

By the way, I don't know how to modify the file! I'm sorry, but I'll be waiting for it to be compatible with your mod and be applied to the next patch..
InkyEmber  [author] 22 Mar @ 8:00am
@Aacad - I already got them, it appears as Kate_AmmoStrap.X. By editing that single file, both armor straps are adjusted since they use the same model but different textures. Still, thanks for trying to make my work easier. :steamhappy:

The files are located in Steam\steamapps\common\ProjectZomboid\media\models_X\Skinned.

AmmoStrap_Bullets

InkyEmber  [author] 22 Mar @ 6:57am
@Aacad - Well, let me check the vanilla files directory. Sometimes they have tricky names and are hard to identify, but it shouldn't be too hard to fix.
Aacad 22 Mar @ 3:53am
The two are clothes that speed up reloading.

It exists in vanilla
InkyEmber  [author] 21 Mar @ 3:55pm
@Aacad - From what mod
Aacad 21 Mar @ 5:35am
I found an error playing

Bullets Ammo Strap, Shells Ammo Strap is buried in your chest!

Can you modify it so that it can pass over your chest properly?
InkyEmber  [author] 12 Mar @ 5:50pm
@numnums081 - Hello, compatible in what way? I just saw that Pear Shaped has a community mod where they adjusted a few clothing items to fit the body. If I want those clothes to work with the body from this mod, I would have to copy Pear Shaped's proportions, and this mod would basically become a copy of Pear Shaped, Pear Shaped 2.0, lol.

If you're talking about the clothing, the only way to make it compatible is for someone else or me to adjust the files of each clothing mod one by one. A while ago, I was put in charge of a project, and that’s been my focus lately. Still, I appreciate you using the mod, I'll be working on this again soon. :steamhappy:
numnums081 12 Mar @ 2:45am
Can you make it compatible with the pear shape mod?
InkyEmber  [author] 8 Mar @ 8:56pm
#DUTE# - Sorry, but no, no one in the workshop has been able to do that. The game is designed for both players and zombies to use the same character model but separated skin textures. The only way to separate them is if someone extremely skilled alters the base game code, or if The Indie Stone decides to separate the models themselves. :steamsad:

I’m not sure if you’re playing on B41, but in B42, the game performance improved a lot. If you were getting around 40-60 fps before, in B42, it can go over 244 without issue.
InkyEmber  [author] 8 Mar @ 8:22pm
@Ointment - Yeah, that’s what I was trying to explain. If there are two models together, they will logically overwrite each other. This mod only adds the model, so for the other mods, you’re only interested in their skin textures. I’ll change the description to make it clearer and avoid future misunderstandings. Thanks for the suggestion. :steamhappy:
InkyEmber  [author] 8 Mar @ 8:11pm
IlCrimSonKyG0Il – Hello, remember that Skin Textures and the Body Model are two different things. This mod only adds a Body Model, so don’t activate it alongside other Body Models. But you can subscribe to other Body Models to get their Skin Textures and use them with this one.

So before activating any mod, first activate Detailed Player Body Model - Female [Reshaped]. After that, activate the Skin Textures. You can use any you like, but if you’re unsure, I recommended two mods with Skin Textures in the description.

In the list of mods you sent me, you activated Tomb's Body Overhaul (Body Model) along with two Skin Textures that overwrite each other: Spoongie and Tomb's Body Overhaul (Skin Textures).

So you’ll want to disable Tomb's Body Overhaul (Body Model) and keep only the Body Model from this mod with just one Skin Texture from Tomb, Spoongie, or any other mod of your choice.
Ointment 8 Mar @ 5:42pm
@InkyEmber

Yes removing the Tomb's Body Overhaul fixed it, this line:

"• Subscribe to the recommended skin textures mod or the original body model to get the skin textures shown in the preview images if you don't have custom ones (You can use textures from any mod):"

Should make it clear to subscribe to Tomb's Body Overhaul but not enable it.

Also didn't know I had to enable "Detailed Player Body Model - [Reshaped] + Tomb's Body Overhaul Skin Textures (Doll, SFW or Nude)" from the MAIN menu, as I was only enabling it in the saved games mod list.

I see other people getting confused as well. @IlCrimSonKyG0Il This is your problem, remove Tomb player body from the saves mod list, it only needs to be subscribed to.
IlCrimSonKyG0Il 7 Mar @ 5:43pm
forgot to mention i did restart it too but the body it just show no changes only the face
IronLungs 7 Mar @ 1:59pm
my issue was not enabling the mods at the menu and then exiting and relaunching the game. Nice work however
