I think it will be good to mention "don't enable another body mod" for people who are not familiar with modding, so that they know they only need to enable the texture from the other mod.
It's kinda sad maybe there won't be new clothes packs to fit it, but I understand you ran into complications and rather wait to spend effort when it's completely to your taste. Would be kinda dumb to have to re-edit every little outfit (hundreds probably) after you can update the model in some potential near future (knowing zomboid that might be years).
Anyways. Yeah, no thanks. You did all the hard work. At least you started with the good outfit packs. Can't wear a million costumes anyway so I'm totally fine with it. Have a nice summer m8!
That's where the X format comes in, it's a headache to convert it into something editable, and I'm not willing to go through that with a model I can no longer work on.
Quite the disappointment. The model is pretty good. But I bet you have valid reasons due to limitations. You got my vote for a future release +1.
I apologize, but I’m no longer releasing updates for this mod. The 'X' format used by Project Zomboid is just too inconvenient for me to work with.
Once Build 42 is out of its Beta stage, I'm considering making a new model from scratch, using this one as a reference. (The one in this mod has very few polygons, making it hard to edit.)
is it possible if the distance between the left and right legs is narrowed further?
because there is a clipping with the weapon placed on the belt
Great Work! Take my Points and shut up :)
I did a short run with the model. Haven't ran into any clothes yet that clip with meshes with the above-mentioned list. Only thing I noticed is when you sneak sometimes skirts clip and show skin on the butt. Nothing to worry about, but thought I'd mention it (It's the leather frockin splendor miniskirt).
And thanks for considerations.

Alternatively, you can use an external program to edit the character body/clothes yourself.
the breast one is way to point and it makes alot of the jackets clip weirdly as if the boob is sticking out...super weird
I checked out some of the mods you shared, and I think some of them already work fine without reshaping (like Enhanced Bunny Suits, it’s literally the bunny outfit from my preview image) because they’re the type of clothing that’s just painted directly onto the character’s body, not actual 3D models.
• Clothes that have a 3D model. (Jackets, Long Coats, etc...)
• Clothes that are just a texture over the body. (shirts, pants, gloves, socks, etc....)
The ones with a 3D model require manual adjustment, similar to Skyrim. And the ones that go over the body, as the name suggests, adapt automatically without needing to mess with the files.
Fortunately, the clothes that are just textures over the body are the majority, so in almost any clothing mod, everything should look right.
Respectivly in order of preference;
- Bianca's Wardrobe
- Countrygurl Bikini
- ahz Clothing
- Tinted Tights and Stockings
- Panty Raiders
- Enhanced Bunny suits
- Schools out
- Ellies Clothing Shop.
Also, not sure yet, but bandoliers, slings, backpacks etc. I hope they fit well because that's self-evidently priority over 'nice things'.
Thanks for the cool bod. Writing code-history. It just works.
- You activated my mod but didn’t restart Project Zomboid, so you're seeing the vanilla model with custom skin textures. (Just close and reopen the game while my mod is active.)
- You enabled my mod and one of the skin textures I recommended, but also activated a different Body Model by mistake. It’s now last in the Load Order, overwriting mine and causing a flatter model. (Check that there’s no extra Body Model active. One of the recommended textures includes a similarly named one without the [Reshaped] tag.)
- The mods preset for your save doesn’t include my mod, or vice versa: your save has it, but your Main Menu preset doesn’t. (Make sure the mod is enabled in both the Main Menu and your ongoing save. Then, load into the save so the mod fully applies, and close the game. Next time you play, it should display correctly.)
And the few clothes I've seen that are cropped are the overalls and the 3D aprons.
Anyway, I apologize if anyone has already pointed this out.
The ones that haven't been worked on yet can still be used. The clothing that requires a reshape is usually a minority, mainly 3D models like jackets and coats.
Spongie's outfits already had a Reshape version, but I had to remove it because I made changes to the body (that’s the annoying part of modified bodies). Most clothes have very few polygons, so sculpting them onto the body is really difficult unless the sculpting is meant for the vanilla model.
I want to add that I'll probably upload a version to Nexus Mods with the same name, in case someone who doesn’t have access to the Workshop downloads is reading this.
I never thought reshaping accessories would be harder than clothing. I'll keep working on it, but I’d rather leave it as a low priority for now, clothing feels more important at this point.
I'm sorry I couldn't help you.
By the way, I don't know how to modify the file! I'm sorry, but I'll be waiting for it to be compatible with your mod and be applied to the next patch..
The files are located in Steam\steamapps\common\ProjectZomboid\media\models_X\Skinned.
AmmoStrap_Shells
It exists in vanilla
Bullets Ammo Strap, Shells Ammo Strap is buried in your chest!
Can you modify it so that it can pass over your chest properly?
If you're talking about the clothing, the only way to make it compatible is for someone else or me to adjust the files of each clothing mod one by one. A while ago, I was put in charge of a project, and that’s been my focus lately. Still, I appreciate you using the mod, I'll be working on this again soon.
I’m not sure if you’re playing on B41, but in B42, the game performance improved a lot. If you were getting around 40-60 fps before, in B42, it can go over 244 without issue.
So before activating any mod, first activate Detailed Player Body Model - Female [Reshaped]. After that, activate the Skin Textures. You can use any you like, but if you’re unsure, I recommended two mods with Skin Textures in the description.
In the list of mods you sent me, you activated Tomb's Body Overhaul (Body Model) along with two Skin Textures that overwrite each other: Spoongie and Tomb's Body Overhaul (Skin Textures).
So you’ll want to disable Tomb's Body Overhaul (Body Model) and keep only the Body Model from this mod with just one Skin Texture from Tomb, Spoongie, or any other mod of your choice.
Yes removing the Tomb's Body Overhaul fixed it, this line:
"• Subscribe to the recommended skin textures mod or the original body model to get the skin textures shown in the preview images if you don't have custom ones (You can use textures from any mod):"
Should make it clear to subscribe to Tomb's Body Overhaul but not enable it.
Also didn't know I had to enable "Detailed Player Body Model - [Reshaped] + Tomb's Body Overhaul Skin Textures (Doll, SFW or Nude)" from the MAIN menu, as I was only enabling it in the saved games mod list.
I see other people getting confused as well. @IlCrimSonKyG0Il This is your problem, remove Tomb player body from the saves mod list, it only needs to be subscribed to.
