It literally makes my game more sharper without the blur effect, i hope it becomes a part of the game's settings, it boosted my fps
Sym 22 Jun @ 9:06pm
Is there something like this for Build 41?
BloodContact 16 Jun @ 12:15pm
Looks really good in 2k as well, my eyes aren't crying bleach whenever I quit after 7hrs, ty bro 💗
Radical Randy 12 Jun @ 1:42pm
I thought this was going to be snake oil but I was wrong. Looks nice and crisp in 4k, probably won't go back.
Wu Zi Mu 28 May @ 2:18am
wtf..? how is this not in vanilla lol
GoodyBoyo 😋 17 May @ 7:04pm
Thanks a lot!
Also makes the colors look good again?
(for example I realized when zoom is off the colors look noticeably richer and more vibrant.

Thanks for this mod, the game looks much better in 1440p. Not a huge difference, but it's certainly noticable especially on the gras textures.
Zooz 22 Apr @ 5:16pm
@lasercatattack7 it's more sharp, less blurry, it's personnal preferences but there is a difference
21 Apr @ 10:37pm
why are people saying this saves the game? it literally just makes the white noise in textures way more noticeable as well as the anti aliasing
Silent λ 16 Apr @ 11:14pm
I much prefer this look. W mod.

Thanks for this, you are a godsend for my eyes and sanity.
Dooly 14 Feb @ 2:41am
This mod literally saved me from going insane. Thank you so, so much.
Wolves 10 Feb @ 1:05pm
noticed the blurriness instantly when i first launched build 42 compared to 41, which is weird because if you disable zoom in the settings it's sharp and looks clean. This mod makes it look like disabled zoom setting, without having to go change the IsoSprite > ForceNearestMagFilter in -debug mode
灬緈諨 10 Feb @ 9:57am
mod plays a significant role in setting the highest image quality in 4K。
Pendah 9 Feb @ 10:50am
Maybe it's more noticeable if you play in 2 or 4k? Way more sharp in 2k here
Great_Puffer 9 Feb @ 9:33am
its not very noticeable, i dont understand
lasercatattack7 8 Feb @ 12:46pm
i literally cant tell the difference
Guyladriel 8 Feb @ 10:00am
Not all heroes wear capes! Thanks for this mod, I was dreaming about it at night.
bookyak 7 Feb @ 3:46pm
wow this is the best mod ever.
BozKhan 7 Feb @ 6:04am
Noticeable difference, the game is much better with this mod, the original graphics were indeed blurry, without an option to deactivate it, I hope the developers will see your work, it's genius, thank you very much!!! ❤️
Pendah 7 Feb @ 1:39am
Yes mod pictures don't do justice it is way more sharp in game, probably resolution and compression. Try it guys you won't regret it :steamhappy:
[F.I] BlackDog 6 Feb @ 9:51pm
Wait....theres blur?
I always just figured the game looked like that due to the textures, wouldnt ever have imagined it was a blur shader
owenfaz21 6 Feb @ 9:18am
genuinely game changing mod... should have far more subs!
WowMuchName69 5 Feb @ 1:25am
Very nice! I agree with others that the screenshots don't do it justice. I never realized just how much blur there was until it was gone.
Didn't notice any performance impact or significant render errors so far. I noticed some double doors, like the ones on top of the mall at the helipad, are partially black, but that may have been introduced by recent patches to the base game.
Neph 4 Feb @ 3:08pm
you need to upload other pictures for comparison. I was thinking this might be an okay-ish mod, didn't see much difference in the example.
...Then i started my game. Oh my it looks CLEAN.
FOSS queen 4 Feb @ 11:46am
THE best mod for build 42. Makes the game look so much sharper.
Helikopterek 4 Feb @ 9:04am
makes the game look so much better
RLMax 3 Feb @ 10:21am
daaaamn I didn't realize there was so much blur and I'm usually pretty sensitive to blur

Thank you for this mod!
Sharkeisha 3 Feb @ 7:03am
Brother thank you so much, the blur was killing me. now if we could only get the vibrancy off colours similar to with zoom disabled.

comparison so amazing

That was indeed caused by water shaders. Disabled them and had no issues. Neat, I can live without them, but not with the TAA-looking vaseline.

It's my bedtime so I had no time to even step outside of that building, but I'll be playing more tomorrow and I'll let you know if other errors pop up.

And regarding performance, if there is a difference, then at least for me it's marginal
Alree  [author] 2 Feb @ 3:52pm
@Mikołaj it's more an AMD related issue
But also the first issue came from Water rendering in your log
Don't have an AMD GPU available but will try to check how I can lower the required specs
Mikołaj 2 Feb @ 3:35pm
Not sure if the performance is worse or if it's just placebo, but I did end up with flickering (objects, both tiles/sprites and UI elements, would flicker between being transparent, blacked out, and opaque) followed by CTD

LOGS:

@kArMaFPS show logs, cause this do not affect anything regarding perfs
It also remove unecessary calc from original
kArMaFPS 2 Feb @ 2:54pm
this mod affect a lot perfomance in game, my game suffering various crashs with this mod
cocoayoc 2 Feb @ 12:11pm
compatible with '10 Years Later' B42?
ShivasBR 2 Feb @ 11:22am
Does it affect performance?
≫ Dasfer 2 Feb @ 8:34am
wow i had not perceived the blur until i installed this mod, no going back
Pendah 2 Feb @ 7:32am
Works great no going back trust me
Rex87 1 Feb @ 10:54pm
this is just fabulous, I have been trying to learn how to mod just to fix this blur/antialiasing problem in B42, funnily enough this mod makes the game look even better than B41 looked at least for me, maybe it's placebo after being forced by devs to play the game in such state.

devs did show that you can turn on ForceNearestMagFilter in Debug settings, but can't be turned on without it so we are forced to have all that UI clutter that Debug provides but this mod makes the game look even cleaner than this setting, I don't know but there was always that little 1 pixel blur around everything when I looked up close on screenshots for example, but this mod finally makes the game look like it should, so thank you!

I really hope you will keep the mod up to date later during B42 development if things will change and break the mod, because it's truly the only way to enjoy this game on 1080p.
Yumpi 1 Feb @ 3:18pm
Oh wow... I've been waiting for this mod since 42unstable launch.
The unblur shader works perfectly. Thank you so much!
Mentat 1 Feb @ 12:18pm
Woo I no longer need to run in debug mode!
Zav 1 Feb @ 12:17pm
Dude impressive, didnt know how blurry it was until I try this mod. Thanks!
Kaoeutsu 1 Feb @ 11:28am
is there any way to make the game (with zoom enabled) have the same visuals when zoom is disabled? for some reason when zoom is disabled the game looks much better visually
