@Nightpigeon reset l4d2 if it doesnt work. if you mean 8 actual players thats apart (its an external addon) you can install it yourself with this tut

the usual expert difficulty is missing, only the 8 player expert being show unlike in the thumbnail.

something is broken and I don't know what. The additional bots doesn't show up when I play first map of Hard Rain, multiple Jocky spotted though.

@2008 Toyota Corrolla definitly recommend playing regular expert if you want a more casual 8player experience. Playing easy difficulty with this addon on could be another alternative.

It would be better if it had some "easy" version. I wanna play with my 5-6 friends in coop, but don't want try hard so much.

@BuhoAzul Cuando hosteas un Lobby ahi al ladito de la eleccion de difficultad esta tipo de servidor (official, dedicado, local) Local es el que quieres elejir (osea que no es servidor official de valve, es hosteado totalmente de tu lado) solo asi funciona el addon.

@gaugezilla06 a couple stuff scale down if played lower difficulty, itll still be hard but not nearly as outrages as expert. still with good 7-8 decent humanplayers even on normal its very doable.

@Edison Gar hope this is what your looking for. It is quite on the extreme side but after many games of expert 8 player this is as good as it gets ive seen. Having 8 players exponentially overwhelms zombies waay to much (especially with good players) so hopefully these settings balances that.

I always kinda wanted to find a mod that would properly balance the zombies with 8 Players, sometimes most of custom maps had their own vscripts which I don't really know how to modify them to suit it.
