@Esudesu (comments in CE patch) I need to manually add recruitment requirements to many files corresponding to every new culture of west germanic heritage brought by Culture Expanded The solution will require much work..

During combat, soldier icons normally turn green or red to show type advantages, but after installing this mod, that visual cue no longer appears. I'm not sure if this is a bug or an intentional design choice in the mod.

hybridized with the egyptians as a norse character and all of a sudden i can no longer recruit archers (did not choose coastal warriors tradition)

Hi, noticed that the Lancer accolade wasn't becoming available despite having the Arched Saddles innovation active, so I did a little digging and found that 04_ep2_maa_attributes.txt has it set to unlock with innovation_advanced_bowmaking_[culture] (same as crossbow captain) instead of innovation_arched_saddle

Do you know if there can ever be a fix for hybrid cultures? I can live with it as the mod is incredibly enjoyable (thank you) but it'd still be good to know!

I have an issue with this mod (and the 2 compatch for Culture Expanded and RICE).
I started a game a few days ago, it worked great.
Today, the game is crashing during the loading phase. When I remove this mod and the 2 compatch, the gaame is loading fine.

I don't know if that comes from this mod or the compatch though.

@SID As I wrote above, the Flavour Pack is just a set of illustrations for knights and levies, you need to choose it depending on the culture you are playing. You can manually swap them each time you restart the game. This is a bit inconvenient, but it's an easy way around the limitations of the game engine.

I'm just confused because it sounds like you're saying you can only have one cultural pack at a time but I was playing in a game where I could recruit Irish Skrimishers but still hire Italian Skirmishers through mercenary contracts.

i mean the gritty look on huscarl and such, they simply dont fit nor match the other portraits of the mod,

also can the default vanilla portraits not touch? i mean they become much much blurry, like 2/10 of resolution of vanilla and have some weird artstyles on them
which doesnt fit the other artstyles since it become so blurry

@sir Ugu, You might be surprised to learn that modders don't generally have the money to commission 100+ separate pieces of art for units. If they were, mod authors would would have to require payment for their mods to have some return for their investment.

I experienced the same issue as MagnusAsakura. It seems to be caused by missing entries for siege maa in the ce_maa_types.txt file for the Culture Expanded compatibility patch.
