@definitely-mid it is a trait thing. The Hunter Trait lets you start with a Hunting Vest, Camo Cap and Camo Bonnie Hat
definitely-mid  [author] 4 Jul @ 12:08pm
@SDgamer I think that's a vanilla feature? In any case my mod doesn't change its offerings based on any selected traits.
SDgamer 4 Jul @ 11:35am
Do traits have influence on what Clothes you can select? When i take Hunter i can chose a Hunting Vest

As you can see it's still a work in progress :spiffo:
Ava J Taylor 28 May @ 5:55pm
You missed the choker and bracelets...:boykisserSmug:
definitely-mid  [author] 28 May @ 5:41pm
@J Taylor I see, I don't think modded items really fit the mod seeing that the mod is about offering a few extra vanilla items (key word: "few") into the menu. The point is to only having things that are likely to be found in someone's house during the time and place of PZ, without making the menu extremely bloated with 13 different items with the name "T-shirt", which is the opposite of the Fashionista mod which really just gives you everything. You can also just used the "All Clothing Unlocked" sandbox option (found in the Character category) since Fashionista hasn't been updated yet.
Ava J Taylor 28 May @ 5:33pm
I would like to be able to start with jackets and hoodies from these mods, for example, in a leather jacket in the Negan setting. Yes, it's more in the Fashionista style, but that's not enough in B42...
definitely-mid  [author] 28 May @ 5:29pm
@J Taylor if you're talking about support for Spongie's Clothing mod and/or Spongie's Open Jackets, I haven't considered adding the items from those two mods into the mod itself, considering I'm still not finished adding all of the vanilla items I want to have in the mod. There should be no issue having any of their mods with this mod though, if that's what you're asking about.
Ava J Taylor 28 May @ 5:22pm
Spongie mods compatibility?
Phayezorix 23 May @ 8:40pm
Appears to be working now thank you!
definitely-mid  [author] 23 May @ 10:41am
@Gojita nice, at least it's not bugging out in B41 I suppose :spiffo:
Gojita 23 May @ 10:40am
@definitely-mid: Fixed now. Thanks bud, just cooking the B42 for now, after it finish, you can then test & port it back to B41 later.
definitely-mid  [author] 23 May @ 10:02am
@Gojita any luck?
Gojita 23 May @ 8:49am
@definitely-mid: it's broken now. Still not work, lemme try unsub and resub.
definitely-mid  [author] 23 May @ 8:40am
B41 version of the mod has been rolled back to before the problematic update, anyone on that build won't have the new items for now but it'll work at least
definitely-mid  [author] 23 May @ 8:30am
@Gojita true, I’ll revert the B41 version but retain the changes to the B42 version
Gojita 23 May @ 8:12am
@definitely-mid: Still doesn't work, if can, you should split it into 2 smaller mod/version for B41 and B42, second, revert the B41 mod back to the previous working-state version, and instead update only the B42 one.

That would save you some time and keep it working for people who still playing/hosting B41.
definitely-mid  [author] 23 May @ 5:51am
@Gojita got another hotfix out, if this doesn’t work I’ll have to wait until later in the day to continue fixing the mod
Gojita 23 May @ 5:44am
Still bugged out, all the clothing options gone. Show up the error as the same as previous.
Gojita 23 May @ 5:43am
@definitely-mid: Nope, it's still the same.
definitely-mid  [author] 23 May @ 5:33am
@Gojita @Furious_Pixel @Phayezorix hotfix uploaded and should resolve the issue on B41, although I’m unable to test the fix myself I’m pretty sure it works :spiffo:
Gojita 23 May @ 5:19am
@definitely-mid: I'm using it for months now, was totally fine up until yesterday.
definitely-mid  [author] 23 May @ 5:12am
Damn fellas, looks like B41 isn’t doing so well with the mod, thanks for the reports, will look into this first chance I get :spiffo:
Gojita 23 May @ 1:57am
B41 - After your latest update, the clothing selection options are gone, and the error spike up, check your bug thread, I leave it there.
Furious_Pixel 23 May @ 1:40am
While i cant provide a log (^ a professional dumbass) i can confirm Phayezorix's issue is happening for me as well unfortunately
Phayezorix 23 May @ 12:34am
Error+Bug still persists even with bigger character avatar disabled and completely removed.

Hat and glasses are the only selectible during character creation all other clothing options are disabled
Phayezorix 23 May @ 12:30am
@Definitely-mid Within the character creation menu.

None of the Extra options for clothing is there only shoes and hat was available

here is the error string with the error magnifier
https://pastebin.com/4zJCti3u

i hope this helps!
definitely-mid  [author] 22 May @ 9:51pm
@Phayezorix where does the conflict occur, during gameplay or within the character creation menu?
Phayezorix 22 May @ 9:36pm
The mod is having a conflict with bigger character avatar
definitely-mid  [author] 19 May @ 1:21pm
@SIMBAproduz the idea is that the sandbox option that unlocks all clothing literally unlocks everything, including armor pieces and bags and whatever, which makes the menu very hard to navigate and is also somewhat game breaking as you can bypass all the work needed to produce/find the armor/bags/whatever. However, the default menu is also somewhat limited and lacks seemingly commonplace clothing items, so this mod adds some of those in without the issues of the aforementioned sandbox setting.
SIMBAproduz 19 May @ 11:02am
I activated a setting in the SandBox and when creating the character I have the opportunity to select ANY clothing.

Would your proposal be different from that?
definitely-mid  [author] 13 May @ 4:58pm
@Sheen Boah sure, go for it
Sheen Boah 13 May @ 4:52pm
I can send you my modlist to draw comparisons with yours and see what happened.
definitely-mid  [author] 13 May @ 4:43pm
@Sheen Boah one possibility is that the mod structure for the game changed sometime within the last two or three patches, but I find this very unlikely because the mod still works on your (and hopefully everyone else's) end.

That really just leaves mod compatibility as the main issue, which I'll admit is kinda spooky because the mod still didn't work without any mods enabled. I guess the only way to really tell if it's a mod issue it to unsubscribe from all of my mods then slowly resubscribe until the issue returns, but it's not a guarantee that all that work is gonna bring results.
Sheen Boah 13 May @ 3:21pm
Hmmmm considering the file structure of the mod is unchanged, is it possible that the game's structure has changed? Specifically file changes within the base game itself prior to updates? Then again, I'm not sure if it's even possible to do that.

If it's not the case, then the chances are is that it could be a mod incompatibility that's doing it. When I tested the mod, the menu works fine, but I hadn't yet spawned in.
definitely-mid  [author] 12 May @ 6:12pm
@Sheen Boah yep, it's the same item as the sneakers you get with the default "custom occupation" occupation, but it would have been duplicated if I had gone ahead with the update without knowing that, good catch

By the way, the issue with the mod on my end still persists for some reason, I'll probably have to start asking on the forums or the Discord bar it suddenly working again
Sheen Boah 12 May @ 5:13pm
For some reason, there are two options of color-able sneakers in the veteran occupation.

(I just realized one of the sneakers may be counted as occupational clothing)
definitely-mid  [author] 11 May @ 6:04pm
@Sheen Boah well that's a relief, guess I'll continue troubleshooting the issue then, and when that's done I'll be able to start pushing the updates I've wanted to do so for a while now, cheers :spiffo:
Sheen Boah 11 May @ 2:14pm
The mod still works and is left untouched. What are the odds that you have a mod conflict? Chances are, one of the other mods you have likely installed got an update that screwed over Mod Manager.
Sheen Boah 11 May @ 2:08pm
I'll do it real quick considering finals week.
definitely-mid  [author] 11 May @ 7:49am
@Sheen Boah unfortunately it didn't seem to work, tested with my local development copy of the mod as well as the workshop published one. Can you confirm whether the mod works for you, I want to figure out if its a problem on my end or whether the mod somehow got borked.
Sheen Boah 10 May @ 10:30pm
Yee, anytime.
definitely-mid  [author] 10 May @ 10:28pm
@Sheen Boah Thanks for taking the effort to research a fix dude, I’ll try that once I’m back at my computer :spiffo:
Sheen Boah 10 May @ 6:01pm
I see. From what I'm finding is that the solutions to have the mod loaded would boil down to verifying game files, deleting the 'Steamapps' folder in the Steam directory.

However, people have stated some issues with Mod Manager, specifically saving modlists (even enabling or disabling all, which gives an error)
definitely-mid  [author] 10 May @ 7:05am
@Sheen Boah the first thing that's off is that the mod image doesn't load properly in the mod manager (appearing as a blank image instead), and when I load it in the game goes black.. Restarting the game after that just disables the mod once more, hence it "refuses" to load the mod.
Sheen Boah 10 May @ 1:37am
Quick question, when you mentioned the fact that PZ refuses to load the mod, what do you mean by this? Cause I'm unsure if restarting PZ or reinstalling it would fix the issue.
definitely-mid  [author] 30 Apr @ 7:11pm
Hello peeps, just a quick update about the mod, I've basically gone ahead and reworked basically 80% of the mod so that a) it will cause less compatibility issues with other, similar mods, and b) make the process of adding occupation-specific clothing a lot easier. The thing that's holding the mod back, however, is that fact that the game just refuses to load the mod for whatever reason (I swear I didn't change the file structure at all!). I still have no idea what's going on so unfortunately it's taking a lot longer than I would like, but yeah updates are gonna roll out again once I figure out what's going on.
definitely-mid  [author] 8 Apr @ 5:45pm
@Sheen Boah sorta, life just got pretty busy during March, it isn’t ideal but sometimes that’s just how it is. Hopefully as things clear up know I can get the next update going, but I can’t really promise when specifically
